I've got a General Admission ticket for tonight and looking at the Ticketmaster website this morning I noticed a "Please Note" section with this message: "All GA dance floor admissions come with Forum Club access (Pre show only). GA Floor wristbands required and will be issued at the the Floor entrance on the night of each event."

Did this happen with the GA seats last night? What's the deal with the Pre-Show? Should I be excited and plan to get there early?

It means you get to hang out in the Forum Club before the show. That's the VIP bar for season ticket holders. It has a seperate entrance so keep an eye out as you head thru the parking lot.

I'm guessing they are sending people with tix on the floor thru a seperate entrance to prevent people with crappy seats from jumping down from the loge. They did the same thing when I saw Nirvana there with a GA floor.

I wouldn't get too excited or show up too early if it was me. It's kinda nice to have a smaller bar & shorter bathroom line but I wouldn't expect the band to be there jammin or anything. On the plus side you can get a top-shelf cocktail for top-shelf prices!

And remember that you will be standing all night. That sounds easy, but having done several Prince GA shows, I can tell you that standing for hours takes its toll on the body.
