Let me ask you guyys...Would you take Sec 91 Row E OR

Section 125 ROW E

They are the same price..

Thank you!

125. A better view of the whole stage, from more of a "center" angle.

I would DEFINETLY take the section 91 tickets. Much lower, and a great angle.

You will be sorry if you take 125 over 91 for that price.

I'm flying into NYC for this concert and have never been to MSG or been to a Prince concert.

I'm already spending a substantial amount for the flight and hotel, I didn't want to get the VIP tickets.

I've got tickets for middle of section 36 (Row E).

Am I going to be disappointed? Should I be trying to "upgrade" my tickets to a better section?

Thanks!

You have good seats, you will be high enough to see the whole stage, better than being too close.

Thanks!

I was excited to get floor tickets, but then started reading some of the posts here and was starting to get concerned that I should've bought loge tickets.

Who's going and wants to meet up? There's a thread in the Fan Gatherings forum if you do. It's a Monday night (WOMP WOMP) but drinks/light dinner beforehand maybe?

You basically DO have loge tickets. They are technically floor, but they are elevated. You will be at about eye level of Prince and the band, with a good view.

I have ticket options for Section 13 row F and Section 73 row L...I've been hearing a lot of back and forth about floor seats especially the ones behind the stage...which seats would be the better option? I went to the show on Dec 29th and was in Section 68, though it was the back of the stage, it was still a pretty decent view...My friend has tickets in section 10 row J and wants to know if these would be a great view as well...thanks in advance for your help! cool

I have section 93, which is not a bad view at all. Section 125 is pretty good. I sat in 225 on 12/29, had a great view, which was between the mid-section of the cross and right arm of the symbol.

How were your seats last night in Section 21? I will be in Section 22 (Row M) on 2/7, that's why I ask. Last night, I was in Section 230 (Row A), which were actually pretty good.

okay

last night I had sec 22 row A seat 12... it was completely obstructed. Not only did I move but the couple a row in back and to my right moved. It was right at the tip of the arrow and the lights and confetti blaster thingies were blocking my whole view.

I was moved right in 2nd row next to the piano... awesome seat. I'm short enough to see under the legs of the piano and all of Prince´s face to the bottom of his guitar, so it was okay for me.... plus I could just about see him where he went on stage unless he was around back in the middle

he was at the piano lots last night so I had an awesome view of him.... all of him whoa

Since you had that experience on the floor, would you suggest I take seats in section 73 or stick with section 13 floor seats? I'm not exactly thrilled w/ being at the back of the stage again but these are the only options I've got neutral

I personally wouldn't do either. I was front row in the back in E Rutherford... I didn't like it

If you really have to buy tix get sec 73 but I would try for something else in the front of the stage

well, the wife just surprised me with tix in sec. 302(i think) row G. i was at the Dec. 18, last night Jan.18, and now Feb. 7. this little guy is really straining my wallet but it's damn worth it !! Prince should just do something like when the Allman Brothers come into town every year and take up residence at the Beacon Theater!! i just love going into the garden every couple of weeks and seeing the symbol stage setup- seems like it belongs there permanently and is home.(sorry if that sounds selfish, but i'm loving this !!).biggrin

so what would u call those that sit in the 400 sections? seats are not nosebleed cause i can see everything as opposed 2 those that have obstructed views and can't see how the stage really functions ..screens are all around so i don't miss prince or the other band members doing their thing

man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

i agree with the previous post- those seats are actually not bad at all- especially since you have row A in that section. those are pretty good in my opinion.

Ah ok, thanks for the advice. Unfortunately I'm trapped with these options unless I'm able to sell off my tickets and get front/middle of stage seats which I doubt are available at this point confused . Are the floor seats on risers?

One big problem with being that far up - besides your distance from the stage - is that the higher you go, the less likely people are to be dancing and rocking out, and the more likely they are to bitch at you for doing so. There are also many more distractions - the further from the stage you are, the more likely people are to be disengaged, talking to each other, screaming into cell phones etc. The music is quieter as well up there, which makes audible distractions more distracting.

I'm not a fan.

I'm not a fan.

in my lifetime i have had prince walk right behind me and speak 2 me. the way the stage is set and designed, sitting closer won't get u 2 hands reach of prince. if u are a certain height u will get asked 2 sit down cause others can't see the stage and i'm polite enough 2 let those see the stage cause of my height but trust me i'm still getting my groove on!! i have heard some say that can't afford going 2 other shows cause of the price of tickets so close 2 the stage well the farther away i have been the more i've been able 2 see more shows. tomatoes tomatos but there are advantages of being further back like seeing how the lights on the stage actually work adding 2 the experience of the show. can't see that so close up
