Still not sure if I am going. Went twice in December (once each Izod and MSG). Am unemployed and just inherited a money pit. Want to see Janet @ RCM in March and other things. Need to sleep on it some more.

I think 125 is good, that seemed to be the side of the stage he favored when I was at the first MSG show.

I'm gonna be in Section 20! My first time on the floor! excited excited excited Man I'm just loving that Prince is loving NYC. This is answered prayer I tell you! He's making a very, VERY cold and snowy winter in NYC a whole lot better and bearable. lol

so i guess ur not gonna go 2 see janet?

man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

I hope I get a great view & not too far, never been so its hard for me to imagine how good its gonna be even after looking at the interactive seating chart offered by MSG! I avoided Floor seats based on 95% of people saying the Loge seatings would be better.

i'm happy your going due 2 the last time u were due 2 come 2 the show

yes but the screens will be just as good to see what's going on. the only fear is truly seeing how the stage illuminates from your vantage point. i have sat in the 400's for both shows so far and again for the 18th and from that vantage point, i was able 2 see everything that was going on way b4 those on the ground could. there is a platform built into the stage and on 12/18 from my seats i could see sheila just about to pop up to stage level.

I have the money right now, but I know there are things I need to do with this house and for my son, there are things I want to do for myself and others. Since I am still questioning whether I should get them I think I should think a bit longer.

The biggest thing makes me think of him possibly doing a totally new show, not the 80s hit show of the last few shows.

I hear you. I'm kidna hoping for that also honestly. I mean I love the 80s stuff, but damn, can we get a little variety in the setlist?

Maybe some tixx will pop up closer to the date of the show, that happens alot. So wait it out till then...

I've been a fan since 1979 thanks to my cousins and I've seen Prince many times before...all better than these shows when it comes to song choice selection. I am adult and as a responsible adult I have to balance the things I want against the things I (and those that I care for) need. I also balance wants against each other. While I would like to see every performance that Prince does...as long as he is bringing his "A" game...I realize as a responsible adult that I don't HAVE to see every performance.

I said this many times before, and I will say it again, Prince is a musical genius, but he's a just a man. We pay for his music and the opportunity to see him perform. That does not mean that he is better or more important than other aspects of ourselves or our lives. Prince does not pay mine (or anyone else's) bills, feed and dress my children or give me the big "O". I see him when I see him and appreciate those moments, and I don't when I don't because other people and needs take precedence.

That being said, I am still borderline, and will make my decision when I have finished waying all of the options, including if I choose to go see Janet Jackson (someone whom I have never seen) and how much it will be.

I sat in section 318 and 323 for the 12/18 and 12/29 shows and I saw everything good. There's definately distance but you see the whole stage and all the action.

I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

u know i got loves 4 ya but seriously, and i understand that this has been ur 1st true exposure 2 him live and all, but your not seeing the true prince and these shows are a fair comparrison 2 who he was live. u saw it urself when we watched the show from detroit, it's okay 2 have fun and splurge but sometimes know when 2 say when. if got the money 2 do things then cool but there are times when even prince isn't worth the amount it would take 2 put food on the table and a roof over ur head
