Just an aside....
During 2nd performance I ended up standing by P's guitars - again  .
Guitar tech "we" nick named Elvis was real upset. He kept saying 2 some red head "it's ur fault. He's pissed off!" over & over; runnin 'round like a blue assed fly. He even fell over! Not sure what she did... THINK: Would U EVER dream of walking over & picking up a violin during an interval? I hope not. Same goes 4 any instrument that's not urs. DO NOT TOUCH!! Do U understand? Nxt time leave well alone! Especially wen U've been told not 2touch. Geeze! 
I LOVED that evry1 took a bow 2gthr after 1st show. Really touching. Also loved watching Prince's directions. Strange I know. Always luv 2 c live. However many times it is. YOOUUUUUEEEEE! [Edited 7/20/09 17:11pm] | |

Yes a "fan". I think she may have snuck behind the barriers between shows. Not sure exactly how or what she did. But Elvis was VERY unhappy. Poor guy probably got it in the neck, hence the repetition. He slipped & fell I thought he may have injured himself. Just 4 a daft whim!
My friend & I were there 1st show & Elvis specifically said not 2 bother him. We respected his wishes, he had a job 2 do. BUT then again there R thoughtless selfish people out there who seem 2 4get how much work goes in2 putting a show 2gther. 
Was so cool where we were. We cud C th band entrance, only our view of JB was obstructed. BUT u don't really need 2 C wen U can hear  The band were AmAzing 
All the band members were introduced & then when P came on the stage, I thought my friend was gonna faint & he looked like he was gonna cry, which made me cry...Probably exhaustion in the mix. My fault 4 staying out the night b4 & watchin some (mad) Russian band. & 4 the record, I left the building & managed 2 get back 2 almost the same spot. Que cera cera! Which was Gr8 cuz I was able 2 c P play guitar up close & personal almost Cool! 
I 4 1 don't care if things were repeated. I LOVE live music! Had me bouncing like I was 21 again. I needed that. Thank U!  | |

He was joking around by putting the blame on her for all his technical problems. For example, in error he set up the Purple Guitar, he return putting the blame on her cause Prince wanted the Red Guitar instead. He even had her touch the Red guitar for luck before giving it to Prince. It went on & on. He went on stage to get used guitar picks just to give it to her. When he fell off the unsecured steps, another girl next the red head helped him up but he thanked the red head instead. Another unprofessional employee working for Prince. Same ole same ole. Quit relaxing ! And after the concert just a few steps to be at the elevater to your room, just great! the stay at the hotel didn't all this make any cheaper (the price of the room made the concertticket look cheap), but all the more enjoyable. | |

Sounds like they were great shows and the audio version at least of the first one so far sounds so as well, i'm just curious to know why if he did two Bria songs she wasn't there to do them with him??
