First of all eye have 2 say that the mans gigs at the O2 were a rave unto the joy fantastic! However, "Too many hits, too little time"? Gentlemen, lets broaden our minds, if he had too many hits and too little time why on planet earth did he do so many cover tunes? Le Freak C'est Chic, Whole Lotta Love, Nothing Compares to You, Come Together, Best of You?

I think it was an attempt to reach out to people who don't know his stuff and make sure there was at least one song they liked in the set. And it's also a way for Prince to keep it interesting for himself rather than just playing his own stuff all the time. The horn covers were a way for him to show some love to the horns and to get a bit of a break downstairs without anyone moaning that he wasn't even playing on one of his own songs.

I completely agree.
Although I thought the covers were awesome, I would have preferred more of his own stuff. If he didn't want to do more hits, he could have done more aftershow style jams, or more album or rarer tracks. Replacing the covers, I would have personally loved to have had some of these to name a few instead:
