Prince in San Francisco Nov. 11- 14????

So, I am a database administrator geek for a medical device manufacturing company & I recently received information regarding Oracle’s annual conference. As I am going through the literature, I see that some of this year’s social activity will include this year "top performing artists Billy Joel, Prince, and Stevie Nicks with Mick Fleetwood". I may have to see if my company will send me...

IF this happens, I wonder if it will be another Hamptons style show with a hefty price tag.

If I go & there is anyone in the area that wants to attend as my guest, I'd be more than willing to do that...

Well people...after reading the fine print about this conference, it looks like you have to purchase a FULL CONFERENCE PASS to attend the OpenWorld Appreciation Event Concert...$1950 before Sept 14. IT IS NOT $500!!

Check page....http://www.oracle.com/openworld/2007/overview.html

Where You Connect
Network with attendees from companies around the world who are innovating with Oracle
Make invaluable connections with Oracle developers, product experts, and peers
Celebrate and mingle at the Welcome Reception*, OTN Night, Appreciation Event*, and the popular "It's a Wrap" party
* Must be a full conference attendee to attend

Yes it is true. Some of my colleagues are database programmers and they are flying over from the UK to this conference. They mentioned that Prince was playing there.

Perhaps he is studying the database programming bible?

Just registered for OpenWorld 2007 & Prince has been removed from the list of performers... sad

The list is now:
Billy Joel
Stevie Nicks (with Mick Fleetwood)
The English Beat
The Smithereens
Angelique Kidjo
