11th August setlist

Got back in hometown Amsterdam last night from an amazing weekend in London nod
Indeed no aftershow on Saturday but we had the most incredible time at the main show!!!
Had seats in block F3 with former npgmc-members and the view was not bad at all. Very nice people around us.
Note that you weren't allowed to stand on the seats, security was pretty fast in telling you to get down. And getting down we did!
When the show started we could easily whistling move to the middle of the symbol (B1) and security had no problem with us standing next to the last three seats of the block.
We were so close fallinluvlove
I thought that the people in B1 were pretty laid back, we were not and have been dancing and groovin' all evening dancing jigdancing jigclappingclappingboogieboogie
My legs and feet are still hurting whew

Although I cannot compete with Militant's live review here's my setlist:

- Purple rain
- Cream
- U got the look
- Shhh
- Musicology / Hey funky London (people are being picked out of the audience to dance on stage)
- Pass the peas (P saying "I got too many hits")
- Play that funky music (P making fun of a male dancer from the audience)
- Jazzy interlude with the hornz and Renato / What a wonderful world
- Lolita
- Black sweat
- Kiss
- I feel for you
- Controversy with a small piece of Housequake
- Let's go crazy guitar
- If I was your girlfriend
- Nothing compares to u
Encore 1
- Take me with u
- Little red corvette
- Raspberry beret
- Sometimes it snows in april
Encore 2
- Keyboard samples bits from Alphabet street, Nasty girl etc.
- Diamonds and pearls
- Bluesy bit
- Strange relationship
- Do me baby
Encore 3
- Le Freak
- A love bizarre

Best Prince concert I have seen so far thumbs up!

Does anyone have news on that story?

Did he do 'April' on Saturday? I remember it Friday but I wasn't sure he did it Saturday. I'm certain he did 'The Beautiful Ones' at the keyboard though on Saturday.

Not to hijack this thread, but the setlist for 11th at HQ is accurate (with the possible exception of Wonderful World/The dance - it may not have been The Dance).
Trust me on this.
There was no Lady Cab Driver.

I thought I was going mad. I would have known if he'd pulled that one out of the bag!

Of course I enjoyed it!

I think it was the weakest night of the tour though. Probably didn't help that the casual fans I took with me to "convert" weren't very impressed with the teasing and then not following through with anything big.
