Ok normally I don't get TOO excited about Prince these days and pretty much take him for granted but goddamn First Ave?!??!!

And to think I almost planned on coming back for the July show but then figured, "Eh who cares. It'll just be at Paisley anyway if he does an aftershow..." and blah blah blah.

Yes I know- I have been in a purple haze all morning after finding this out early. I also called 1st avenue and the poor girl who answered the phone was literally taken by surprise about the whole thing. Hoping we can snag up some tickets in the am-I am sooooo not wanting to be at work today! I am going to call them back later on in the day and see if they figured things out. I believe tickets will be avail only at the door? She really wasnt sure so I guess he just decided he was going to go there and made it happen.

I'd leave during the middle of the show at the Target Center, sumpthin' tells me the after show is going to be a lot better...
