Internet Communities

i'm very curious about how the internet has made the world a very much smaller place. it seems that there are connections and relationships coming together becuz of the net.
a few people, including myself, have entered romantic relationships having met people online.
it's also interesting how many of us spend a lot of time on the Org. i know it's becuz of Prince mostly but it feels like there is a little social circuit right here. the fact that Orgers meet up on occasion is proof that the net has made the world a lot smaller and interesting. are we social misfits, addicted to the internet or just bored or do we really enjoy the company here on the Org and has it become a substitute for real life interaction?

anyway, i was wondering.

I have no idea why, but when I read this post, I had Sarah Jessica Parker's voice in my head, instead of my own!

I've met people from the internet and the kind of people I like to meet in real life are exactly the kind of people I've met through being online. I guess I've been lucky.
