3121 is one of the best Prince albums and era's
Rick James copied a scene from purple rain in his music video for "Glow"

I would say 3121 is the better of those three albums which are sort of a trilogy. (Musicology, Planet Earth, 3121.)

I really gravitated toward the lyrics of "Love." I wish it had a fuller production. Almost like a "Pink Cashmere" or "7 (acoustic)" approach.

And as much as Rick James talked shit about Prince, he totally hijacked a few elements from Purple Rain for "Glow." That was as close as he'd ever get to something as his own movie. He talked to Don on Soul Train before that and said a movie was sorta in the works. Clearly, that never happened.

Yeah I saw that heated interview.Seems like Don had a agenda against Rick James for some odd reason.
Rick James would've made a great actor for comedy movies especially since he was so funny in real life.
