Not semantics at all. They are long divorced. This was a defemation case based on that article she wrote. Televised or not, that's some serious shit.

Depp wanted it on TV for whatever reason. I don't think it was about him winning in the court of public opinion. I think it was to give Amber Heard just enough rope to hang herself. And she did.

She's since did an interview on NBC (I think). And she's not even convincing there. I'm no Depp-stan or anything, and I don't know much about her. But goddamn - she's hideous, even in that NBC interview.

I try to give folks the benefit of the moment because we really only see 5% of a celebrity. We don't know their daily lives, how they live, how they smell, sound, move, whatever. But this case was just a landslide, just on those large bits we saw in the trial.
