I'm not really into SW missed a few of movies but know enough lore to connect the dots in this series and enjoy it for what it was. I'm guessing space sci-fi is in right now because Stargate is getting some kind of reboot after all these years. ST:D must be doing well. The Expanse has concluded since the book series takes a 30 year jump, leaving all the familiar characters behind, so it seems they are working on a 3part movie series to cover whatever, I'm not sure if they're filling in the blanks with the old characters or taking on the time jump. But I'm here for it. I'm all for Picard, I don't mind the slower pace, folks have aged quite a bit. Speaking of which, the inclusion of Q and Guinan for the 2nd season is going to require some serious explanation. Funny how they're bringing back the 3 "ageless" characters 1st. Data was easy he's technical dead, still, the other 2 are a bit of a work around. We shall see. Time keeps on slipping into the future...

I thought they were canceling Space Force after 1 season but I see they dropped season 2. Woohoo. Space sci-fi is hanging in there. Time keeps on slipping into the future...

And Amy Pond If you got the part you would have been opposite of Matt Smith, very good stories during his time on the show.

Cool. It was about 10 years ago, maybe more? Around the time he was on Doctor Who, anyway. Whenever that was. I met him at a taping of The Graham Norton Show. I didn't tell him that I was had auditioned for Doctor Who though. I also met Scully from The X Files that day. She was on the same episode. Lovely woman. For some reason I told her I was a big fan of The X Files. I wasn't. To this day I still haven't seen more than a handful of episodes. But it just sort of came out and once I said it I couldn't take it back. For 15 minutes I tried (and probably failed) to bullshit her into thinking I knew what I was talking about | |
