Dude with the fancy lighter was the man who does the mods. It was who Boba took Fennec to when he saved her in chapter 4.

Loved the show overall and am now itching for more Star Wars.

*edit* Looks like Kenobi is next on May 25th

So it had some great moments and loads of refrences to other movies and shows (both star wars and not). Like some of the lines were from the Godfather movies... and refrences to unreleased clone wars episodes.

So Yeah I forgot about the Rancor... and I specificaly paused the show to thing "Who else could show up?" (Luke? maybe he had R2 fly the X-Wing from on the planet and was there?) Maybe some of the tuskins were alive?

But that was so cool.

Cad's (he's not dead no way is he dead) end was okay... when I saw the tuskin staff I knew he would used that to end the fight.

I do question the timing of how Boba got to the palace and back that fast and how did Fennec Shand get to that place she ended up? seems they both had to have some other way to travle.

as I said the Marshall was not killed...

And it was cool to see Boba pull out all the stops and use several weapons in this deasperate fight. (Like the rest of the show this was set up a little like a video game. They had several waves of battles, a boss and then a 2nd boss...

Maybe Cad isn't dead. I don't know much about him in the canon.

I thought Grogu would show up in that X-wing fighter. Instead, I got the Rancor. haha

I realized the mod guy that helped bring Fennec back is who was standing over the Marshall in the tank. So he's obviously going to fix the Marshall.

Chiiiile, it's a lot to get through sometimes. And I have trouble reading at times. I tend to glaze over or scan quickly. So sometimes I miss things.

I've finally caught up with the show. Been a busy little bee recently but luckily I was able to avoid all spoilers before jumping in.

A few thoughts...

First and foremost, I was absolutely ecstatic to see Timothy Olyphant return as Cobb Vanth. Those who know me also know that I'm in love with Timothy Olyphant. Ever since Deadwood. And speaking of Deadwood, it was great to see Olyphant's fellow Deadwooder W. Earl Brown showing up as the barman in Freetown, essentially playing the same role as he did in Deadwood. All it was missing was Ian McShane showing up and swearing up a storm.

I wonder if that scene at the end will lead to a full spin off show for Cobb Vanth? I'd definitely watch that. It would be like Justified in space. I really don't think you can get better than Justified in space...

The last couple of episodes didn't really feel like a Boba Fett show. He was barely in episode 6 and wasn't in episode 5 at all. And episode 7 was more of a crossover. They almost felt like lost episodes of The Mandalorian. Not that I was complaining. I'm of the opinion that The Mandalorian is the best Star Wars thing. Especially if I get to see little Grogu do cute things. That's just the cherry on top.

All in all, I was very impressed by The Book Of Boba Fett. It gave me more Mandalorian, more Grogu, more Luke Skywalker and more of Timothy Olyphant being a sexy cowboy in space.

I'd love to see Cobb Vanth get his own spin off and have Cad Bane appear as the main antagonist. Give Cobb Vanth a chance to get his revenge on Cad Bane for that duel. The duel, by the way, that Cobb Vanth did NOT lose fairly. If his idiot of a deputy didn't distract him I just know Cad Bane would have gotten a bullet right between those weird red eyes of his.

I've seen all the movies and both live action Disney plus shows. And I've played a couple of the Star Wars games. I don't consider myself to be a MASSIVE fan or anything but I do like it, yes.

I've seen the first of the Chris Pine Star Trek movies and a few episodes of the the Patrick Stewart show. But that's about it as far as my history with Star Trek goes.

I'd rather be dragged backwards through a cactus farm than watch Doctor Who.

Doctor Who just isn't that great. My cousin highly recommended it to me starting with ...some damn actor. I tried, and two episodes in I was bored out of my fucking skull. And I love British shows. That one sucks balls.

As far as Star Trek Discovery, it's fucking epic every week. The story arcs, the time travel, the fact that even 900 years into the future beyond the original stardate, species still can't get along creates a base for great storytelling. We really enjoy it every week.

Picard better pick up and be better this season. The first season was boring as hell. The first two and last two episodes were the only good ones. The rest was people just hurrying to get somewhere. Seems like they could've been there way before they arrived. Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle had a faster pace.

When I said that I had seen a few episodes of the Patrick Stewart show, I was referring to the old Star Trek show he was in. I didn't know that he had a newer show. lol

As far as Star Trek Discovery, it's fucking horrible every week. The story arcs, the time travel, fake Kligons, bad cast, leads to bad storytelling. We really hate it every week.

Can I asked you what Doctor was it when you watched it because that is very important? For me I never seen any of Doctor Who when in originally ran during the 60's up until the mid 80's (I do plan on watching them) I started watching Doctor Who when it came back in 2005. The best actors that played the part were David Tennant and Matt Smith. Christopher Eccleston played Doctor Who the first year and was good in the part. The only problem was he was only on for one season. Peter Capaldi was the 4th actor to play him for the 2005 series and he too was good in the part. Even all their companions were great in their roles such as Rose, Amy, Clara and Martha. That is where I stopped watching Doctor Who. Jodie Whittaker took over and that is where the show went downhill. The main complaints by Doctor Who fans is that the Writing for the show now has gone down hill and the Doctors companions are horrible/irritating characters.
