Who are your favorite villains ? As a kid, I used to think that Darth Vader is the greatest villain ever. Then, when I was around nine years old, I watched Conan the Barbarian and was impressed by James Earl Jones as Thulsa Doom, who, as you all know, voiced Darth Vader. I liked his hairstyle, his calm but sinister demeanor, and of course his voice. A couple of years later I watched Mad Max 2 (The Road Warrior) in a movie theater and thought that Humungus and Wez were among the greatest villains ever. Both are very mysterious, ambigious and brutal, even sadistic, and both had a very unique look and style. . To my own surprise they are both still my favorite villains, even compared to more contemporary villains but I think Negan from The Walking Dead was also a great villain in his early seasons. I like his humor, his leadership skills and his style, with the leather jacket and baseball bat named Lucille. Quite unusual. Another favorite villain of mine is Anton Chigurh from No Country For Old Men. I think Javier Bardem really did a great job playing him.....he doesn´t say much and uses a very unusual device to kill his victims. # - It ´s very hard to narrow it down to just one villain, I like them all equally, and they all have their unique style as far as looks and idisyncracies are concerned. Soooo....who are your all time favorite villains ? I like comic book villains such as the Joker, Galactus, Dr. Doom etc. as well, but in my opinion they don´t really compare to the ones I listed here.....the Joker, maybe, but he is so wellknown and overexposed, much like Darth Vader, that he is no longer in my top three or even top five.

The great James Earl Jones as Thulsa Doom.

Another great villain with a great hairdo.....Javier Bardem as Anton Chigurh.
Negan.....his jacket is very similar to the jacket Max Rockatansky wears in the Mad Max movies, and he and Javier Bardem look a bit similar, too.

Yes, that actor plays villains so well that I can´t imagine him being maybe a nice guy in real life. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

Negan? Not on your life. I would've bashed his head in the first chance I got.

That´s a good one, too, but to me he´s more like a misunderstood and helpful good guy who happens to have an appetite for human flesh. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

I know and like all of them , and they were all pretty scary but of those you mentioned I think the Wicked Witch of the West scared me the most and is , in my opinion, the most iconic one. But The Tall Man is also pretty iconic....and scary. That movie really messed with my mind when I watched it around 3 a.m. As far as the Witch is concerned she scared me more than Buffalo Bill and Max Cady. And more than Jack Torrance. I actually felt a bit sorry for Jack and could relate to him....a bit at least. But yeah, he is very iconic. That picture where he´s hitting the door with that axe is such an iconic image . Lee Van Cleef as The Bad. (That says it all, doesn't it?)
Christoph Waltz as Hans Landa in Inglourious Basterds The Daltons in the Lucky Luke comic strips. (Although they're too stupid to really be villains.) [Edited 9/4/21 11:31am] If you take any of this seriously, you're a bigger fool than I am.

Some great villains listed here so far. Kurrgan (Highlander) Anton Chigurh (No Country...) and Max Cady (Cape Fear) are among my favourites. To add to that list, I'd nominate Arnold Schwarzenegger's Terminator (Terminator), Robert Patrick's T-1000 (Terminator 2) and Rutger Hauer's Roy Batty (Blade Runner). And of course, probably the best villain of all time, Nurse Ratched (One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest). Honourable mention, for Bennett from Commando, Jack Nicholson's Joker, Gene Hackman's Lex Luther and Alan Rickman's Hans Gruber.

Surprised no one said Denzel Washington's Alonzo Harris from 'Training Day' or Kevin Spacey's John Doe from 'Se7en'.

Yes , Tong Po and Clubber Lang were really assholish villains. But I kinda felt sorry for Clubber. Bennet, by the way, was played by the same actor who played Wez ( whose pics I posted above), the great Vernon Wells. Too bad he didn´t play more villains. I really liked how he played Wez and Bennet. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"
