Lightweight I feel drunk as a skunk after two medicinal drinks, hot water, honey, brandy and honey. I have the sorest throat and this is a relatively natural remedy. Is tolerance to alcohol a genetic thing? I'm fine until I stand up!
I don't know now how I used to enjoy getting drunk in night clubs, back when London had some left of course. How did I navigate the club, the people, the music, the walk to the tube the ride home, the walk home... how did I keep my job going out with my team?! Do you loae ability to deal with it if you don't drink for a while or is it practise makes perfect? [Edited 9/17/21 14:14pm]

I don't really drink alcohol at all. But, sometimes, I do like the occasional fruity cocktail. And it doesn't take many of them to get me tipsy. I don't know if that's because I'm not a regular drinker or maybe it's because of my small frame. I'm 5'1" and (when I'm not pregnant) quite small. I wouldn't say I'm skinny, just petite. Though we'll see what happens once this baby comes. I don't think I'll have the energy to lose the extra weight, LOL. My husband doesn't really drink either but he's built like a house. 6'4", muscular frame. (Though he's losing some definition on that muscle ). And despite not drinking that often, when he does drink he can drink like a fish and not show even the slightest hint of being drunk. So perhaps it's a size thing with you too. Are you vertically challenged like me?

I never drank much. Never had the long term taste for it, but I do have an enjoyment of an adult beverage at times. Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.
