True story: I saved a roll from the last pre-COVID pack I bought. During rehearsals for a play I was doing when the lockdowns hit, I went out and bought a huge package of TP because I didn't want to be worried about running out during tech week or the run, which are extremely busy (especially when you also work a full-time job).

So I made it through all the hoarding and shortages just fine. Never ran out - and was able to get more once things settled down. (I think I might have had to buy a different brand once - but that was the worst I endured on the TP front.)

But I saved that last roll. Not sure when I'll use it - maybe when I get to do a play again.

Good ol' Walgreens special. Seventy nine cents a roll(or 4 for 3 bucks.). Not harsh on the bunghole and the roll size is boss. Been using it for years.


A little off topic. One time i brought some TP from a corner store. That BS was so harsh that it made my *** bleed(after a few uses). It was like using sand paper. And I'm serious.



Anyways, somebody deserved a brick to the face. Either the store owner for selling that shit, or me for buying it.

Favourite I remember was this shit called Natural (I am in NZ, so u probably never heard of it). It came out in 1993 and featured an ad with dancing toilet rolls with sunglasses and arms and big lips drawn on the rolls singing a 4 Tops like song called Natural. This is how it went.

For years, I've done this, for whatever reason. Maybe a habit I picked up in the Navy and revisited, plus a phobia of just being overly dirty even after a wipe. That feeling just grosses me out.

So, since I normally just poop once a day, I just hit the showers after. Because why would anyone shower first, then poop later? You're defeating the whole purpose. So, when I poop, I shower after. My dad once asked me, "do you wipe before getting in the shower?" I said, "No. That's like cleaning up before the maid comes over." Call it what you will, but I'm clean when I start my day. I save a load (no pun) on toilet paper (we do have it in the house, because I have a roommate), and I don't irritate my hole with wiping.

I also only buy Ivory soap bars for my butt. I have body soap for everything else, but I keep a bar of Ivory (just cuz it's cheap) for my butt.

And I only poop at home.

They have kits at those home improvement stores one can install on their own toilet bowl. It can give you cool or warm water.

I'd have to get permission from the landlord and hire a plumber.
