We've had 2 for years. I think you will want one w/a Hepa filter which can filter the smallest of dust particles and pollen etc. I won't recommend ours as it does not have a hepa filter. There are many good ones on the market. It's important to change the filters when indicated. [Edited 3/30/21 8:33am]

Why? Houseplants, though charming, do little to purify the air in a room, say the scientists who study the air we breathe. ... The studies, which concluded that a small houseplant could remove a range of toxins, were conducted in labs.Nov 14, 2019 https://www.nationalgeographic.com › ... On top of an air purifier, I found those cheap little damp catcher boxes (151 brand only) and the closet and wardrobe hanging ones REALLY help if you are allergy afflicted and also in a home that gets damp. I stopped getting sick regularly. One in each room and hanging ones monthly for the airing cupboard, dryer cupboard, shoe closet and general closets. It costs about £30 a month but was very helpful with allergies as they were worse from damp. I positioned these catchers by walls or corners that were especially bad. This place was horribly damp but it did work wonders for health with the air purifier. I hope this helps.
In topic - Recently got the dyson, preferred the blue air I gave to my neighbour, but both are good. If you go for filter model factor in price and how often they need replacing. Lastly, if you don't want to pay out for all of this, vaseline around the front if your nostrils isn't the worst quick fix ever!! [Edited 4/4/21 15:10pm]
