I never used Facebook. Never with my real name, as myself. I created an account with a fake name to be part of a few super nerdy electronic music discussion groups, but I never used it the way it was originally intended. And even that was years after it was the thing to do. I don't want people to find me. I do not wish to be found. You still get zero results for my real name in search engines and that's something I'm pretty damn happy about, considering I haven't been without an internet connection since 1993.

That being said... I am on Twitter, Instagram, Snap, YouTube, Twitch, OnlyFans and PornHub...just not under my real name.

Not much. I never cared for it much from the start or the idea of posting my entire life on the internet.

So much of it is nonsense I don't care about; pictures of people's meals, stupid memes, photos of someone at a concert, cat pictures that are just boring to me. Now I have to contend with phony news stories, right wing horse shit, multi-level marketing scams and stupid jokes. I also have a huge problem with Zuckerberg and how he runs his company so I tend to opt out.

It was nice after my divorce to catch up with a few people and there are one or two groups I like to follow but I never understood the underlying narcissism of it and half the time reading it just makes me sad.

"Hey, everyone! I went christmas shopping, here's my tree and a photo of the bottle of wine we're going to drink xmas eve!" Who gives a shit? I don't need to broadcast my entire life in the internet and the creepy alogrithms it uses to figure out who I might know are off putting to me.

Short answer: no, not really, and i don't care much for social media in general

My name on Facebook is the same as it is over here with the same theme of rotating various good looking men as the profile pics so the ex-orgers can find me but no unawanted family members or co-workers. That way, I let my hair down, be myself, and talk absolute filth if I want to. I have one other account on Chaturbate but that one is under a female name with a picture of a naked amateur woman who is not too pretty and not too ugly either. That's the best way to get those dumbass men to get naked over there.

I wish I could be the way you are on FB but it´s impossible because I´ve accepted too many friendship requests from relatives, colleagues, ex-colleagues, former classmates, former teachers, and so on. And I can tell that that has changed the way I interact on Facebook dramatically. I have become more tamed, boring, predictable and I think twice before commenting on or liking something there because I can tell by some reactions that too many people are scrutinizing me there.
