Has anyone studied criminal justice? I found a certificate program for it and it looks interesting, like something I might take if I feel like going back to school in a few years. Has anyone studied anything similar? And how do you like the field if working in it?

You should pursue a degree if you are interested in the criminal justice field. Good luck with your studies!

Yeah it’s a certificate, less time consuming. I feel like I’m not sure where I’d want to work after, but just want to learn for the sake of it if I get bored after 40 [Edited 7/12/20 20:47pm]

No, it’s a certificate with 6 courses in person [Edited 7/12/20 21:54pm]

A certificate in criminal justice would be great with social work. Fellow social worker here. I'm leaning towards certification in mental health. We've been seeing more folks with severe mental health issues and it's been years since I've worked in that field. Let me know how it goes, please.

I also did a certificate in counselling that included courses about mental health, and worked in that sector for a few years Will definitely let you know how it is if I take the courses [Edited 7/13/20 10:07am]

That’s cool you worked in psych, also with the current job I can imagine mental health is prevalent with older patients.
