The 2016 NBA Finals It's that time again. Time for the elite teams of the NBA to challange for the Larry O'Brien trophy, though realistically it appears only two teams really have a shot at grabbing that piece of hardware, and one of them won it last year, only to top themselves with an amazing regular season run, and the other is in the same conference. #7 Memphis Grizzlies vs. #2 San Antonio Spurs #6 Dallas Mavericks vs. #3 Oklahoma City Thunder [Edited 6/1/16 18:40pm]

I hate to say it, but I do not want Golden State to win. Any other team, but them.

My money is on Curry & The Warriors. I'm thinking the Cavs won't get out of the East. Upset special: The Celtics. FOOLS multiply when WISE Men & Women are silent.

1st Round: As much as I hate to say it, the C's arrow is clearly on the way up. GC is right; they could take the Hawks this year. Predictions: Cavs, Raptors, Heat, Celtics advance in East. Warriors, Spurs, Thunder, Clips in West.
Predictions: Cavs and Heat in the East, Warriors and Spurs in the West. [Edited 4/15/16 13:16pm] Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

Good analysis.........but I'm thinking the Cavs might get knocked off. If the ref's call what actually happens in the games, the Cav's don't get out of the East.

Can u imagine.............the Cavs make it to the Finals and lose again. That would result in Lebron being 2-5 in the Finals. Yikes. FOOLS multiply when WISE Men & Women are silent.

I have a strong feeling that the Cavs aren't gonna make the final round. Warriors are going to slice and dice though...them brothers are still hungry...and I'll be front and center rooting them like I have all season!!!! I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Thrilled with how the Blazers played this year. I had predicted 26 wins but they somehow pulled together for 44. I don't think they can take down the Clippers, a very unlikeable team, but any playoff wins are gravy at this point. Looking forward to all the matchups this year. Even the East should have an entertaining first round. Hard to see Golden State not repeating. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!

If the Paper Clips survive Lilliard in the first round I think they will have something for the Warriors second round. That being said I think Tim Duncan caps his career off with another title. In the East who cares. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint

The way people predict other teams are going to beat the Warriors makes me laugh. Because all of them did it so many times this season. No team beat the Warriors more than once. Not one team. So please, somebody explain to me how they're going to beat them 4 out of 7 times. [Edited 4/16/16 1:25am]

The question for Cleveland is can Irving and Love raise their game to LeBron's level? IMO, no (neither player impresses me), but LeBron's greatness will get the Cavs to the Finals, where he'll come up short against a better GS or SA.
That was vintage PG13 yesterday and typical Toronto.
Celtics should kick themselves for blowing that game. Can't turn the ball in the playoffs where every possession is crucial.

No, it may not be logical at all, but I guess I would just like more of an underdog team to win. Of course, I'd love the Raptors to win, but after that abysmal game 1 yesterday maybe I'll put my money on OKC.

The winner of the Warriors-Spurs showdown will be the Champs IMO, I can't see any of the Eastern Conference teams winning a series against either
