Oh, so was it or wasn't? Rumor is we'll know in the next episode. If so I'm relieved they didn't pull a 2 week break thing.

At the very end we heard some voice saying “Help” on the other end of the walkie-talkie. What can you say about that and what’s coming up next?
I will say that voice is not Glenn.

I’m sure that’s what people were wondering.
It’s not Glenn. But it’s probably somebody at Alexandria with all we know that’s happening there.

I’m curious what you guys have been making of the reaction by everybody over whether Glenn is dead or not, because it has been pretty insane and I’m sure you all have been taking note of that.
I had the same reaction. He’s such a beloved character and such a good friend of mine. You know, I saw what I saw in that episode. And I was in that episode. And I was still pissed off at the end of the episode. I was in shock, and I was there! So I felt it too. You see what you see and that’s the point. If it hurts, it hurts. And if it’s shocking, it’s shocking. You’re supposed to feel the pain. That’s the idea. I heard that people are taking pictures of themselves under dumpsters and putting them on the Internet and saying, “See, I can get out of this!”

I turned that episode off when it was done and kind of walked around my room and was cursing at the floor. I was kind of in shock. Like I said, I was in the episode and I felt like that, so that’s just the level of stuff we’re doing right now. It’s shocking and it’s full of fear and full of disbelief and you don’t want to believe things that you see. So that means we’re doing a good job, I think.

nod Yes, excellent episode last night. This one should had been 90 minutes long but nonetheless, it was still great. Daryl is still learning I see. Can't give everyone the benefit of the doubt, still. And yes, we will see those two again somewhere down the line...and they WILL be sorry. I love how this show has the most unlikeliest characters hooking up or "potentially" hooking up. Abraham and Sasha? Who knew. lol

People are saying that Norman is towing the company line since he's the one who let it slip about Glenn. I just think if Glenn is dead it was a foul exit.

Yeah it seems like they've been implying a possible "ship" since the beginning of this season, but given how things are going I'm leery about where its actually going.

I get what you're saying but with so much stuff that's been just skipped over recently I think that storyline has been dropped given what's coming up.

I'm now wondering if this war starts behind a hoard being dropped off in somebody else's backyard.

i think we might see him snap eventually. i keep hearing that the writers put in plot points looooong before they are used and never waste a single symbol. maybe abraham's flashbacks were limited, merely a way of acquainting us with the tragedy of his general backstory, but i dunno

i think you're right. did some checking and according to michael cudlitz the purpose of that backstory was to explain why abraham was where he was (suicidal) when eugene found him:

excerpted from: http://www.ew.com/article...-self-help

'The Walking Dead' star Michael Cudlitz explains Abraham's shocking flashbacks

And we see that through these flashbacks. Let’s talk about those: We see the flashbacks with Abraham’s family. He has to do terrible things to protect them, so terrible that his own family is too scared to be with him.

.He has basically become what he is protecting them from. That horrifies his family. They don’t know who to be more afraid of, and because of that they wind up leaving. And all he’s trying to do is protect his family from, unfortunately, the group. The way it plays out in the comic is that this is actually the group that he has been traveling with. He goes out on a scavenger mission, comes back, and finds out that members of the group have raped his wife and his daughter, and made his son watch. And then he basically has a dismantling party on those members of the group. What happens is his wife basically says, “You have become worse than them.” And she leaves. And he can’t find them. He finally does find them, comes across them, and they’ve all been killed by walkers. In the comics — which I don’t think was necessary to do and I’m glad we chose to tell it the way we did, because I think there’s more of an emotional punch when you see something visually and there is a line that can be crossed — in the comics, actually, his wife and his son had been eaten so badly that there is nothing left to come back, and his daughter did come back and he winds up having to shoot her in the face. And that’s in the Robert Kirkman graphic novel. I think we’ve successfully captured the emotion of what went down with his family, and then also what has spurred him into action from taking his own life, when he has nothing left to live for, which was a mission that was outside of himself, bigger than himself, bigger than his family, and this is sort of his way to redeem himself for something that he thinks he’s caused, which was the death of his family.

Lets talk about that, where he gets to this lowest point where he finds his dead family and is about to turn the gun on himself. At that point, before he meets Eugene, we see him put the gun in his mouth — has he just lost all purpose?
There’s nothing left. There’s nothing left to his group, there’s nothing left to his family, there’s nothing left to live for.

It’s done.
Yep, it’s completely finished. At the moment he is pulling the trigger, someone needs help, and it is in his core to help. He is a soldier. He is a service-giver at this core. And he can’t even stop himself from helping him. But then he’s going to go right back to finishing himself after he’s helped this person — until something is given to him which is beyond him and beyond his family. It is a mission, and he responds in his DNA and on a genetic level to that word “mission,” because that is who he is.

So.....I could be looking more into this than I should, but I looked on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon app to see what guests he'll be having on the show next week (as I normally do every week) and it said:

Danai Gurira on Tuesday night 11/24/15

Steven Yeun on Wednesday night 11/25/15

I sure hope this doesn't mean that they both will be killed off the show. Just sayin'. It's awfully strange that they would schedule to main characters of the show back to back. But again, I could be alarmed for nothing. confused

I think Michonne is safer than Carol right now and Carol's been guaranteed safety. She's alive and well in the comics. Personally as popular as Daryl may be I'd hate to see the firestorm if Michonne was killed off this season. Not only is she a legitimate thriving character in the comics unlike Daryl or even Carol but she's one of the top fan favorites on the show, win-win for her. That would be pure evil on the makers part if they did that.

i'll just come out and say it - i don't want ANYone to die tonight. it's been a rough week in reality land, terrorism, desperate people marching through cruel territory, economic turbulence, cold freaking weather and tomorrow is monday. so you know what? i'd like a nice, quiet, cheery episode tonight. no more gloomy violin arpeggios to accompany our characters, let's have some nice polka music. or accordion. let's see maggie and deanna plant a garden. with flowers. i want to see rick and jessie sneak off into a hayloft with a bottle of wine, daryl and carol play poker all night and carl teach judith how to say dada. let the sun rise all pearly and glenn come whistling home, driving a huge semi trailer full of medical supplies and food and no one dies. wouldn't that be nice?? sigh
