well, assuming the earth really IS flat it's only logical that gravity holds the water on the underside of our spinning disc of a planet, maybe whipping it upward on the side where it is not apparently 'falling off the edge' nod

fallin off is not a problem. Not when you have 100-200 foot mountain of ice holding the ocean's waters in. Do you need to see the flat earth map?

No, we need photographs. biggrin

I have to say, I'm sadly disappointed in the fine folk at the org. I really thought there was a more enlightened class of people here, people who would look at the mountain of evidence to prove a flat earth. I guess it's so hard to to undo the years and decades of indoctrination.

BINGO! now envision that all the way around keeping the oceans in.

Early explorers have told how they sailed and sailed and never did find an opening to the other side of those ice mountains. In his book "South Sea Voyages" artic and Antartic explorer Sir James Clark Ross describes how he came to the conclusion the earth to be motionless.

More evidence for a flat earth:

Water will always find its flatness. It cannot be curved. It cannot have a hump in it. From California to Hawaii is is 2,467 miles. Between the two states there should be a "hump" of 770 miles due to the curvature of the earth. No hump is physically possible in water. USE YOUR EYES!

LOL....find a video of that fake earth spinning...watch closesly and you'll notice the clouds don't morph lol Fake! Oh wait, prior video showed that NASA admits they have no video footage of a spinning earth. Well, try to find one anway and post it, I love science fiction!

Probably because the ISS (and all other past space craft) are moving fast than the Earth. As you know, the ISS orbits the Earth several times a day. Therefore, it would be impossible for any video to exist such as what you ask. The only way we could get that kind of video would be if the ISS is stationary which, as you know is impossible.

However, there are plenty of images from the moon that show the Earth in various states of orbit. Checkmate!

You're trying to apply a conclusion from a 2-D picture to a 3-D object, that's why. Checkmate again!

Nice attempt at dodging! the correct answer is: "I don't know, I can't answer that because I've been brainwashed from infancy about a global earth even though all the evidence points to a flat motionless earth.

Answer this....if the earth's curvature reallyexisted, don't you think there would be hundreds, thousand of famous pictures that are so cool showing the earths curvature???? How many exist....try ZERO!

I havent' researched that one but I'm sure once I do, airline travel will be my biggest arguement..will probably take over lack of curvature! I watched a couple videos on airline travel how it makes no sense the routes they take, unless it's on a flat earth, then it makes a whole lotta sense!

Forget airplanes. Answer how you can get from Tokyo to Honolulu in a boat without going around Africa.

Just so i inderstand your question: Your saying that on a global earth, the boat trip would NOT require a trip around Africa? According to both maps (flat and global) you still have to go around Africa
