heres your answer:
any object which is heavier than air, and which is unsupported, has a natural tendendcy to fall by its own weight. there is no gravity because if it existed, the earth would attract the rising smoke which is not nearly so heavy as the oceans that gravity supposedly holds to the earth. Smoke is lighter than air, and therefore, does not fall but ascends.
you reject the divine intervention from the Intelligent pulller?
you will burn in hell.

Nope...not going IP on this one! Interesting though if you think about it, gravity is strong enough to hold the oceans on the earth but weak enough to allow birds to take off, little bugs to crawl, smoke to rise, bubbles to float around. It doesn't make any sense. Do you remember lying in bed

your answer is salt?? LOL so salt makes the waves and tides in the ocean lol
Nope, that's just a guess. But the difference between the oceans and the other bodies of water you compared to oceans is salt.
Prove I'm wrong! And never forget - you are totally awesome!

Aha! Experts say every body of water IS affected by the moon. But even the largest lakes are not big enough for the effect to be witnessed, like it is with gigantic oceans.
http://oceanservice.noaa....tides.html
True tides—changes in water level caused by the gravitational forces of the sun and moon—do occur in a semi-diurnal (twice daily) pattern on the Great Lakes. Studies indicate that the Great Lakes spring tide, the largest tides caused by the combined forces of the sun and moon, is less than five centimeters in height. These minor variations are masked by the greater fluctuations in lake levels produced by wind and barometric pressure changes.
Consequently, the Great Lakes are considered to be non-tidal.

Ok. So birds don't float. They fly. Their airworthiness has nothing to do with lesser attractions. Drop a dead bird off a building (some buildings are lighter than aeroplanes don't you know) and it.....never mind! Oh and we're pretty damned precise when it comes to gravity. Far more precise than is required to explain why balloons float. We landed a robot on a fucking comet! [Edited 8/19/15 8:27am]

really??!! then why don't you please stop wasting time on this silly thread and get on over to NASA/s website, where you can enlighten them all as to the true definition of 'gravity'

Global teachings - we on earth are NOT special, we're just a spec in the universe and 1 of billions and possibly trillions of other planets/galaxies. Athiests love this teaching.
Flat eartch teaching - we are special and God created this earth for us. The sun, moon and stars revolve around us. It's all about us and nobody else.

The advantage would be the spread of atheism, and Godlessness. Since we are not the only life in the galaxy, we're not so special after all.
Another reason to promose global teaching is if they give us all the "facts" and accepted theories we eat up as truth...then it satisfies our curiosity enough to not figure things out for ourselves...if all we have to do is memorize theories to be considered intelligent...then that's as far as our intelligence will reach...
They're goal is to control the masses. Do you remember lying in bed

I fixed it for you:
Religious teaching is if they give us all the "facts" and accepted theories we eat up as truth...then it satisfies our curiosity enough to not figure things out for ourselves...if all we have to do is memorize theories to be considered intelligent...then that's as far as our intelligence will reach...
Their goal is to control the masses.
Atheists - which I believe you really mean - scientists(?) actually encourage the continuous questioning of theories.
So the question that Phishanga asked needs to be asked again:
What advantage would "globalists" gain from teaching we are not special? I mean, how does being a tiny speck in the Galaxy cultivate anything other than a insatiable thirst to learn more?

Science is basically believing theories that have been decided to be true...yet not proven to be true...how is that different from religion? Do you remember lying in bed

Will only answer this one time: I am not a troll. I sincerely believe that the early we live on is flat as apposed to a globe. I've looked at the evidence and it's overwhelming in favor of a flat earth.
The flat earth society is a controlled operation. They put out some truth mixed with satire but enough satire so the average person seriously looking at the evidence for a flat earth is turned off by it. For example the flat earth society teaches that there is no gravity but that the earth itself is raising up continuously so thats why it appears there is gravity.
JustErin, i appreciate your replies, no name calling but I hope you take back the assumption that I'm a troll. I sincerely believe what I'm posting, was hoping more people would take a look at the evidence i presented. Do you remember lying in bed

The thing is. If you really believed in this. You could easily. Check for yourself.
I mean if somewhere in my mind there was anything like the slightest doubt about the world being what it is said to be, I simply couldn't live with the thought. I'd have to check. I'd rent a boat or an aiplane, even if I had to spend all my savings for that purpose (it's not like we're talking millions of dollars anyway), and I'd sail or fly until I reach the limit of the world... or come back to my starting point. And not only to know the truth but because if there was an end to the world damn, I'd just have to see it with my own eyes because wow!
So you are trolling, or you're nuts but deep down you know that you're just telling yourself a fairy tale and that's why you just won't go and check for yourself. Because of all the conspiracy theories, the flat earth theory would be one of the easiest to verify if it was true.
So either have fun trolling (you're amazingly good at it) or cut the crap. |
