SPOILER ALERT: The main person they killed off in the end of the finale will be brought back to life by dark magic or so I predict.

I can totally see that nod

This show is starting to lose me. Seems like they just get off on "Who can we kill off next that they wont suspect?" It worked the fisrt couple of times, but now it just seems silly. I'll be back next season, of course...but I think I'm going to start reading the books now rather than later. This shit just aint makin sense....

If your reading the books to see what happens next there's no point, the show is ahead of the books or has completely cut out varouis minor storylines that may or may not become major story plots down the road, everybody's surprised at this point.

Let's just say its theory and opinion at this point of rumors going around, of course there are some chapters of the next book around I haven't read that might give insight but that book isn't official yet. It's still a surprise. Shireen is still alive.

The last 60 minutes of this season were like a bloody, masochistic update of the third act of The Empire Strikes Back.

I honestly didn't think they'd do Cersi's walk, I thought they'd gloss over it. It was good to see, and I was left with the exact same impression as when I read it, Cersi's going to do some serious reaming from here on out. Her storyline best paralleled the book.

I was glad Brienne got justice even though it not in the books that I know of, in fact her storyline nor Jaime's are paralleling the book.

Arya's my focus character I'm dying to know where her journey will take her. I swear if they kill another Stark I'm going to need to kick somebody in the neck.

It was good to see Theon show up I never thought he would for the show given how things played out.

I noticed a lot of sqiud sigils displayed very predominantly. hmmm

I'm worried for Tyrion, Dany, mother of dragons, technically a legend in her right wasn't doing so well as queen, now those 3(4) are in charge. Doesn't sound like a good position to be in, unless Varys is there to work his magic.

They took it away. Sorry. Too much spoiler or another stupid rumor. The web is awash with them, too much crap to sift through for the truth. So I guess we'll have to wait.

Anyway, I'm not looking forward to Jon being brought back to life, there's more information to all of that, that hasn't been addressed in the show yet, I don't know if they are ever going to address it, so no, not a yay from me about it, not yet. I hope they don't kill Ghost, there's rumors regarding that which I can see more the possibility of, but then again the show hasn't highlighted that either. Not quite satisfying, since I could see him growing to be king, but a lot less morbid then the lord of light practices.

I don't think the direwolves are going to be as important as they seem to be in the book, really I think when they were introduced in season 1 they were going to do something more with them but as time went on they just kinda ditched them.

My understanding from other sites, I havent bothered with the books, Snow is pretty much dead in the last book.

That does't mean he staying dead.

One thing that nags me most is that for both the show and the books the expected doesn't happen. Maybe it will this time. But we've been setup before. This is the poison cup game.

Good news, last year the hollywood reporter reported that Kit H. got a new contract for season 7. Which means Jon Snow is still alive or the witch brings him back to life. (Could be a walker too.)

But there is conflict all over the place so who knows? shrug

[Ugh. If you watched Sunday’s Game of Thrones finale then you know the sad truth: Jon Snow was stabbed (by his own men no less), and is most likely dead. I wanted to believe that he was maybe not dead, but then Kit Harington dashed all my hopes. In an interview withEntertainment Weekly, Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington said Jon Snow is definitely dead. Or, at least, he was told Jon Snow is dead, which could be an important distinction.

This is my understanding of it. I had a sit-down with [showrunners] Dan and David, we did the Tony Soprano walk [letting an actor know they’re being whacked]. And they said, “Look, you’re gone, it’s done.” … Quite honestly, I have never been told the future of things in this show, but this is the one time I have. They sat me down and said, “This is how it is.” If anything in the future is not like that, then I don’t know about it — it’s only in David and Dan and [author] George’s heads. But I’ve been told I’m dead. I’m dead. I’m not coming back next season. So that’s all I can tell you, really.]

People do lie though, I mean it's a actor's job.

I just got back into town and the very first thing I did after carrying my luggage upstairs was watch this shit. Ok.....so basically they are setting it up for Jon to become Lord Commander of the dead army??? ohgoon Jeeze this show makes you want to scratch your skin off. WTF??? I don't have that feeling I normally get right after watching a GoT season finale...which is normally, "FUCK, can't wait until next season". My reaction this time is pretty much, "umm okay really? Fine. Let's see what happens next season then". I'm underwhelmed.
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I'm really expecting it to be. Isn't Bran going to be returning next season? I sure hope so.

I'm glad that there's at least a glimmer of hope that Theon is slowly coming back to himself. I'm guessing that Brienne and Podrick were there at the bottom of the castle that Theon and Sansa jumped from to save them.

Looks like after her "atonement", Cersei will have reason to live again. I'm guessing she'll eliminate the religious group, among all of her other enemies, that she inadvertedly gave power to.

Also looks like we haven't seen the end of the Dorne storyline either.

Thanks for the welcome back wishes. I was vacationing in the Dominican Republic and had a blast!!! cool

Welcome back.

I'm really expecting it to be. Isn't Bran going to be returning next season? I sure hope so.

I think this season went The Empire Strikes Back route, and next season will be more like Return of the Jedi. Bran will re-appear next season. Hopefully Rickon too.

I'm glad that there's at least a glimmer of hope that Theon is slowly coming back to himself. I'm guessing that Brienne and Podrick were there at the bottom of the castle that Theon and Sansa jumped from to save them.

The most crucial shot of the Winterfell scene was Podrick. Who was he heading to? Where is he headed? Will he see Brienne first (and stop her from killing Stannis) or Sansa and Theon first (and help them get to Brienne so they can literally break north)?

Looks like after her "atonement", Cersei will have reason to live again. I'm guessing she'll eliminate the religious group, among all of her other enemies, that she inadvertedly gave power to.

Cersei literally fell into the arms of the Mountain. She, Qyburn and Robert Strong will make an impact next year. I can't see this changing Cersei for the better but it will give her some perspective on who her friends and enemies truly are (remember, her uncle didn't break her out).

Also looks like we haven't seen the end of the Dorne storyline either.

Unfortunately. Is Myrcella still alive? Will Jaime even go back with his daughter's dead body? Personally, I think Bronn's new girlfriend may have slipped him some antidote. Otherwise, war on Dorne. (I doubt Doran was involved, because otherwise he NEVER would have put his son on that boat.)

Other things I'd like to know --

1. Is Stannis alive?
2. What is Baelish's and Olenna's next move?

3. Will we see Rickon again?
4. Where is the Blackfish?

5. What will the Wildlings do?

"Fear is for the winter, my little lord, when the snows fall a hundred feet deep and the ice wind comes howling out of the north, when the sun hides it face for years at a time, and little children are born and live and die all in darkness while the direwolves grow gaunt and hungry, and the white walkers move through the woods."

Welcome back.

Thank you very much sir. wink

I think this season went The Empire Strikes Back route, and next season will be more like Return of the Jedi. Bran will re-appear next season. Hopefully Rickon too.

Well it would surely be a relief to see them and how Bran will be learning to utilize his new powers.

I'm glad that there's at least a glimmer of hope that Theon is slowly coming back to himself. I'm guessing that Brienne and Podrick were there at the bottom of the castle that Theon and Sansa jumped from to save them.

That's a good point. Podrick was certainly running somewhere. Perhaps there was a chance that he saw the candle lighting in the tower while Brienne was off with Stannis. I believe that surely Brienne indeed killed Stannis, despite the fact they didn't show it.

It appears that the "new and improved" Mountain will be a beast, but while he may serve a special purpose for Cersei to exact her revenge, I think that he will eventually become to be a big problem as well.

Naw, Myrcella's a goner. I just knew that the ship was going to be turning around for Jaime to go back to Dorne to get revenge but the boat kept going. Who knows for sure what he's really going to do. Whatever that might be, I don't suggest he go to King's Landing with that awful news to serve to Cersei. She'd be evil enough to hand Jaime over to the Mountain for dinner. You are right, there was definitely something going on with the exchange between Bronn and one of the sand snakes but who knows what it was. I don't think Doran was involved but at the same time, I don't think Doran is a dummy. He's cooking up something behind the scenes that will reveal itself next season.

Other things I'd like to know --

1. Is Stannis alive? Nope
2. What is Baelish's and Olenna's next move? That's one of my questions too.

3. Will we see Rickon again? Probably. I believe so.
4. Where is the Blackfish? Could he had been the one to help Sansa and Theon?

5. What will the Wildlings do? With Jon (as a human) gone, I expect that there will be a showdown war between the Night's Watch and the Wildlings....only for the dead army to come and shut all of them down.
6. What is Davos going to do now that he doesn't have a king to serve?
7. Is this the last we are going to see of Sam?

8. Will Jon come back as one of the Lieutenants of the Dead Army?

9. And if so, will he have long claw (his valyrian sword) with him?

10. Will Tommen grow some balls?

11. Why do the Night's Watch men keep pulling mutinies on their Lord Commanders? Should the show be renamed "Game of Commanders" instead? disbelief

12. Will Arya stay blind until she learns her lesson or is this a permanent punishment?
13. Will Daenys return only to have to bow down to Tyrion for handling her business while she was gone?
