Yeah, The Talk is a complete ripoff of The View. Almost a complete duplicate of it. I will say that The Talk is getting better because the first few seasons seemed shaky. It's getting better while The View is getting worse. I think Sherri Shephard needs to go. She's really irritating and seems to talk too much these days. All of this while her own marriage is failing....

Like I've been saying, someone like Jimmy Kimmel would never in a million years get treated like Arsenio. So, next season late night TV will feature all white, male guys who aren't much older than age 40. I've never understood why networks don't want diversity in late night shows. I think people like George Lopez and Arsenio (and others that we never hear about) are totally stiffed when it comes to that genre. Also, there isn't much hope for female late night hosts either.

True! that's why Its important to own your own brand like Oprah. That's why I admire her so much. She is her own boss. She has her OWN network. Even though ratings is very important also to get endorsements and advertising revenue for the network. Arsenio's ratings just wasn't that good. But I don't feel he was given the right promotion or time either to build his brand up again.

Regular people I know didn't watch it or even know it was on at all. But I feel he will be cool. Maybe get picked up by a cable network. But he won't be getting that major network salary anymore.

Arsenio made a LOT of money on his first talk show. At least about 20 million a season. He owned that show through his production company Arsenio Hall Commnications . That is why everybody & their mama is trying to get their own talk show now.Tyra Banks just announced she is coming back.

I'm still trying to figure out how Craig Ferguson made it TEN YEARS on TV as a late night host and his show is dreadful. But, that horse and robot bit that he had on the show was funny I agree that he didn't get enough promotion and time to make things develop. I know that there are sitcoms and other shows that come and go quickly because of ratings. BUT, the issue here is that late night shows are in a very specific category all by themselves and is probably one of the most racially biased and gender biased shows in TV.

In other news, Justin Bieber is caught on tape saying the N-word and a host of black celebs rush to "defend" Bieber because the tape was from when he was 15. However, Mel Gibson is caught on tape using slurs against Jewish people and his entire career was destroyed.

There are probably millions more examples of inequality in the entertainment business. What if someone used racial slurs against Jewish people? Why is it okay to give Bieber a pass on this nonsense?
