[Edited 9/30/13 19:20pm] 99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

I love nothing more than wondering around shops getting ideas, then searching for better bargains elsewhere... i love finding cool little treasures and bringing them home to enjoy.. I can rummage for hours in an antique store... The only thing I dont like about shopping is trying on clothes... I like nothing better than taking my daughter shopping, we laugh, we argue, we LEARN about each other every time... There is not a damn thing wrong with women who love to shop... Agreed. I had great times when going shopping in thrift stores with a friend. We both love that. And I like it when I can share a certain taste with a friend. There is absolutely nothing wrong with shopping. If you have the money to pay for it, that is.When shopping is the main focus in life, it does get sad a little bit. But, I don't know, beause I have never been there. Maybe it's fun. But I just can't imagine that.[Edited 9/30/13 19:20pm] .................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... Shopping isnt a main focus in my life... I am sure it is for some people, but then anyone who has just one focus in life is pretty sad IMO... I think you just arent understanding "window" shopping... ~~~~~ Oh that voice...incredible....there should be a musical instrument called George Michael... ~~~~~

* I don't think anyone said there was anything wrong with women who love to shop. Did they? It's perfectly fine to love to shop. It's just not something that I like to do. That doesn't mean it's wrong for other people. * Once again, my comment was made in response to what's generally assumed by most: That women love to shop. I'm a woman and I don't love to shop. *

I think part of the problem with me and shopping is that I just don't have much free time. Therefore, from my perspective, the free time that I do have, I'd rather be doing something that I feel is more productive (from my perspective, no one elses) and that I truly enjoy. I'm very practically minded that way. If I had loads of free time on my hands, then maybe I'd feel differently about shopping. * I'm happy that you find joy in shopping. Life's too short not to enjoy it.
