My stalking is strictly platonic. I'm just leeching a little off of Sexton's culture snob credibility. i haven't watched Close-Up yet, but I do have Kiarostami's latest (Like Someone In Love) on my viewing short-list.

Natural Selection 3.5/5 What won me over the most is the final choice of the lead female character, she was cute with her naive self, but I'd of killed somebody being in a marriage with no sex for 24 years or gone complete nuts.
City of God 4.5/5 I loved this, I don't know how I kept missing it. I loved the way the story was told, I loved how the characters were introduced. Sad but real, hard to believe people live like that, but they do everyday in a lot of place around the world.
Older than America 3/5 Traumatized by the strange visions that grow more vivid with each passing day, a young woman of Native American heritage begins piecing together a Catholic priest's diabolical plot to prevent her mother from revealing the atrocities that unfolded at a Native Indian boarding school. | |
