Opinions can be wrong. If its someones opinion that JFK got shot by two different guns, and its someone elses opinion that he got shot with only ine gun....ONE OF THOSE OPINIONS is WRONG.

My opinion is that im NOT talking down to you, and that i am NOT being condescending. ..and im NOT being sarcastic.

All SUPRMAN was doing was letting dude know that if he thought this was a good movie, then there was other movies out there thwt would probably impress him even more. Even cited some examples for dude to check out. Suddenly he gets called a dick for doing that. Why? Who knows. Then i get told tht im supposed to let someone think a bad movies is a good movie and the whole art is subjective BS. Which is a passive aggresive way of saying my opinion is BS, while compaining about how someone elses opinion is being called BS. Then i guess im taking it ti seriously, but it was someone else who started with calling my friednd(i guess i can use that term?) a dick for no good reason. But thanks goes to the person calling people dicks.

Damn...yall a couple of dicks(aparently this gets praise around here). biggrin

He got called a dick for making an assumption that Joe had not seen sufficient cop movies to determine whether End of Watch was intense or not. I've seen End of Watch and thought it was intense and saw each of the other cop movies you and Supra named.

I have plenty of movies that I think are good that other people think are bad. Do I give two fucks what people think of those movies? Nope.

I regret watching it but I saw A Serbian Film, which may be the sickest single film ever made. One scene involved the raping of a new born baby. Yea, I know, nuts. Then, a dude uses his hard dick and pokes out a guys eye. Sick shit. ahh.

All you others say Hell Yea!! woot!

What I said was NOT an assumption.

"Guess you don't see too many cop movies."

I am speculating, not assuming.

And it was not whether it was 'intense' or not. I was challenging the statement that: " the best intense cop movie I've seen"

It's nowhere near the Top Ten of the best, intense cop movies made. But that statement would make sense if his universe of cop movies is a limited one. Therefore I could only speculate, not assume.

I've watched this movie twice in the last three days. There is only one word to describe it:

BADASS.

What a freaking BADASS movie. Great plot, awesome story, perfect special effects, and the greatest cast ever assembled. Even better than "Expendables 2" and that's saying something.

I give this movie uziufo uziufo uziufo uziufo uziufo

.

The sights were breath-taking when I saw it in the theatre in 3-D. Amazing story to begin with but also visually like nothing I have seen before. THAT is how you do CGI, not these corny fantasy/sci-fi movies.

I said The Descendants wasn't so hot and gave it three stars out of five too and she said that star rating was wrong based on my critique. So I already know our rating systems are different. lol

I really REALLY wanted to like this...and many parts of it were great. I love M. Night Shyamalan. I even loved The Happening. The fx and the future technology were really amazing. It could have been so much better. I don't even care that Will put his son in this. That happens all the time in Hollywood. I was just expecting better. sad 2 1/2/4

I've heard nothing but bad things about it and even though I see every Will Smith movie, Shyamalan's stuff has been horrible over the ten years or so. So, no.

I try not to listen to 'popular' opinions and see for myself. cool I liked the theme of the ruination of the earth although it's been emphasized in so many movies already...but many of the reviews I read were way too harsh. razz

At the movie theater, went to see:

star star star 1/2

I really found the "reality" factor strong in this one, for Star Trek, and the action was constant.
My buddy hated it.
shrug

On TV I caught the better half of this strange movie:

star star star

It's convoluted and quirky, but interesting nonetheless.

I want to see it from beginning-to-end now.

Did anyone else notice the cartoon characters in the upper right hand corner of the poster?

Absolute proof positive this movie was financed by the Illuminati, with the intent of turning us all into Goat People.

No, really. It is. If you don't believe me, just visit P&R and see for yourself how the Illuminati controls everything and everyone - even Al Bundy!
