What's your prefered form of Birth Control?

I've been informing myself about conception and conrtaceptives and shit so as not to have a baby too soon - and it's made me more curious about the many ways people prevent pregnancy..what you guys do/use and or have experience with?

My lady has reservations about the pill so I've been using an ovulation tracking app for extra protection with condom use.

Have any of you used a tracking app? female condoms? the pill? ect.

Any condom preference?

do you just pull out and cross your fingers? lol

Yes, My husband. Not me. lol

A couple of years ago. I had been taking the pill for a long time... we don't want any more kids... and condoms are icky.

Obviously, we have been together a long time and we had to talk about it a lot before he went ahead.

I guess your choice of birth control depends on how long you have been together, how commited you are, etc..

We haven't used any form of birth control for 15 years.

Well, i guess the "pull out" is a method.

There have been times a few soldiers have gone astray, but they must have been weak soldiers.

I've used the occasional condom, for when I wanna stay n play....but, not for me.

Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

ANAL!!!

I can't believe nobody said anal yet... disbelief

Aside from that an IUD but I may have mentioned that elsewhere... I was a prolific prophylactic user once upon a time but then I married...

(Nice to see you back AndreP!! You've been missed!!)

I use birth control pills. I can definitely understand why a lot of people don't like them and I had to try out a few kinds before finding one that didn't make me crazy, but they work for me for the most part. I don't like some side effects, but I'm on the pill primarily for another reason other than baby prevention and I can overlook some stuff because it helps with a health problem I have. As for condoms, the only kind I've ever liked have been Kimono condoms.

The best sex I ever had was with a woman over 40.I think mainly because I never used a condom.

The side effects are different for everyone lol . I've been on 5 different kinds at this point and I reacted differently with each one. The main thing I haven't liked is the changes in mood it can cause. There have been times where I really did not feel like myself. I was on one for a few months and it had me crying every single day over the stupidest things or even over nothing at all lol I put on 15 pounds after starting one and I haven't been able to lose it since, even with me working out 5 days a week and counting calories. All of the ones I've tried have made me have migraines at first, as well. I also feel like some made my anxiety worse.

I'd rather not be on any pill, but I feel ok on the one I'm on now and have been on it for 7 months now. Some of the good things it has done for me is that it improved my skin, it shortened my period from 7+ days down to 4, I don't have cramps that leave me bed ridden for days anymore, and I don't have any dang kids! lol I also have a problem with ovarian cysts and the pill is supposed to help with that. My body must be weird though because I grew a bunch of them anyway neutral
