So...
A few minutes ago, I was watching TV, minding my own business, and an ex- calls...

When I answered the phone, he said, "What's wrong with you?"

When I asked him if this is the way he greets someone when they answer the phone, he asked what I was doing. He then proceeded to tell me that I have a problem because I'm home watching TV instead of being out on a date, etc. blahblah

In the midst of this, he threw in about the TWO girls he is seeing right now, and what he did for both of them. confused

Obviously I got annoyed, so he said, "See, you get agitated too easily. All I did was call to say Happy Valentine's Day. What is wrong with you? (again)"

AT NO POINT in anything he said, did he wish me a Happy Valentine's Day.
So I told him off, and hung up.
Now my phone is downstairs ringing while I type this rant.

And this is why I can't: http://prince.org/msg/100/392616

WTF is wrong with him?

Why is he calling an ex on Valentine's Day to bother her?

Why isn't that self described Cassanova out there satifying and partying it up with his mini-harem?

Fuk him.

Chile... disbelief

First off, did you recognize his number when he called? If not, you should had given him the dial tone right after you heard his voice. Seriously..there is absolutely no reason for him to be calling you on Valentine's day other than to spill his negativity on to you. Misery loves company. Oh and them broads he claims he's seeing right now, that's a 100% lie, cause if it was true, he would have NEVER called you in the first place. He would had been too busy to even think about dialing your number.

Take satisfaction in knowing that you don't have to lie to folks in order to feel good about yourself.

He sounds pathetic. If I were you, I'd get the number blocked and keep it moving. hug

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Should we have a post-Valentine thread, where we can discuss whether we had a nice surprise (like Serious), or a trainwreck of a time that made you want to jump out of a moving vehicle into an active minefield?

I got my sofa, and a very cool seventies table + lamp.

Very happy.

And I'm selling stuff now, because I'm broke. Found out that the chairs I got from thrift shop probably are Erik Buch orgininals eek

So, hope to sell that soon, need the money and house is way to full at the moment.

MY FORMER NEIGHBOURS ARE MOVING BACK TO ENGLAND!

cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry

They lived in the appartment above me, and I loved that family. I was like family to the kids, have been with them since they were born.

And B. and I talked for a few minutes every day, storming in, she's my best friend.

This summer I moved to a different neighbourhood. And since then, they don't feel settled anymore. So, she told me this morning that there is no reason for them anymore to stay in Holland, and are moving back to England.

I feel so desolated and lonely right now.

Being single, they were my surrogate family and I was their surrogate family.

It really hurts and I don't want to face it, because I just can't miss them.

I feel so sad and lonely right now.

I can't do anything but crying.

I just can't imagine my life without these two children. I practically raised them together with their mum. They called me the surrogate father, because the real one is abroad for his work 5 days a week. So, they saw me more then him.

And she was the surrogate mother of my cat. He's sleeping, oblivious that he also is losing an important person in his life.

I'm going to close the curtains, watch tv and cry.
