Who's officially "tired" of Beyonce?

Everthing from her marrying Jay-Z, having a baby, to faking singing ,to her over "Grandiose" SuperBowl performance. Do you wish she'd disappear for like 6 yrs and take Kim Kardashion with her?

The thing about Beyonce is...she never grows and evolves as an artist. The Beyonce of 2013 is the same Beyonce of 2003...same look...same hair....same dance moves.....same type of songs bored Her Superbowl performance was like watching a re-run of an old sitcom that you watched as a child.

I can see why so many people are tired of her.

Hmm let's see here, her Super Bowl performance was the first time I've ever seen her perform since she performed with DC at the BET Awards back in 2001.

I don't watch Award shows.

I don't buy or listen to her music.

I don't listen to a lot of Hip Hop/R&B radio.

So, no I'm not tired of her at all.

Am I tied of seeing her name on the org? Well..

lol

Exactly. It was still cool seeing how far she came during bday and Sasha but is a rehash now. Tours were good too but I'm not to her new one even if I like some 4 material

I said it before and I will say it again. If there was more competition in the "business" called "music", this would not even be an issue. Look, in a staving entertainment industry people are going to jump on the first person that has a stitch of talent. Not only are they going to jump on them, they are going to want to see them over and over again. The result is, "over exposure". You can't blame her, for her hustle. As for her growth as an entertainer, there is an old adage that says, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." I can think of a few, just as or even, MORE talented "Legends", who can stand a change or some growth, but because they have been around allot longer than she, people tend to give them a pass....smh.

The amazing thing is how short the list are of legends and veterans who "adapted" to the industry by changing their styles. Beyonce is not the only one who has stayed in her own realm. The majority of performers from the past until now always had a "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" philosophy.

If you think about legends like Marvin Gaye, Sly Family Stone, James Brown, Stevie Wonder Tina Turner, Aretha etc they all evolved as artists and were creative. They of course had their signature songs, dance moves or notable special things they were known for but they are not legends because they stayed in a box or stayed safe. Most music legends are legends because they were innovative and made a significant impact on the industry or a specific genre

On the Topic: YES, I am sick and tired of the million threads on her here.

She has her HBO special this month, her world tour this year "Mrs Carter Show" (how fucking weird is that title disbelief) and I'm quite sure she will have some new music... Hold on to your hats and weaves The Beyonce Ride is pulling out of the station lol

She's overexposed but I know how to ignore her when I have to lol . I have a love/hate with her, she's a decent/good entertainer but she isn't a good artist imo (if that makes sense).I think her music is a little immature even though I like a lot of her uptempo songs she has no depth to her really. You can tell she chooses to cater mostly to a younger crowd 25 (my age) and under lol . I thought with the first album she could have been better than she is now but not really I guess. Maybe she will mature for this new album but I don't see it. I actually liked her more with DC.

I am not tired of her but I do agree with everyone saying that they want something different from her. I think she needs to take a break from being inspired by other artists and maybe that will force her to rely on her own imagination. I think she is at that point in her career where she can take some risks and shake things up.

There's a weird obsession wih her on this forum...

I mean I don't like her as a person, but I don't hate her hussle.

Credit to her for staying relevant.

My guess is that people are "angry" at Beyonce because they feel her success is "undeserved."

They feel her music isn't "artistic" and "deep" enough.

Then there's the whole "light skinned" thing where people think her skin color has a lot to do with her success. (I'm not saying it hasn't, nor am I saying it has)

Maybe if she wore her hair in a "natural" afro and started singing about saving mother earth, then maybe the org would like her better. lol

Hell naw. Ditch the shit hop, make funk, and become of those artists that you have to "search" for.

I am tired of SOLO Beyonce.

I wish this Destiny's Child reunion lasted longer than a brief Superbowl medley performance and compilation of previously released material (Love Songs).

SoulAlive also brings up a good point. She looks and sounds the same as her solo debut 10 years ago (yes "Crazy In Love" was 2003), and her act is tired. zzz

You know whats funny?

I find it comical that some people pretend that their oblivous to why people think she is overrated and then they turn around and criticize her themselves . lol

Dont be Phooney You cant have it both ways.

You cant criticize her then turn around and act like you dont know why people criticize her (which I think doesnt make any sense lol

and I am not directing this post towards anybody specifically because alot of people on the org do it.

As soon as alot of orgers criticize an artist... some posters will change up and say "their hating" or "the artist is not that bad" or "dont know why people are bashing them"

Yall did the same crap with Frank Ocean... alot of people hyped him up when his album dropped but when people saw his performances turned around and trashed him and acted like months back they were not stanning for him lol

Fuck that shit.

If I feel an artist is overrated or underrated I am going to say it regardless if alot of people feel the same way or not.
