OMG! She has been in the media every single day, non-stop for the past 2 or 3 weeks!!!! It has been like one of my worst nightmares come true! All of this foolishness about her lip-synching at the inaguration and the lights going out after her superbowl performance, I wouldnt be a bit surprised if she planned all of it. Beyonce is the most annoying, most over-rated female vocalist in music history but she's no dummy. She knows that any press is better than no press at all. That broad knows exactly what she's doing.

To answer the original question, I was officially tired of her in 1998, the same year she released her first album.

Regular People do not talk about the topics that we discuss here on a daily basis. There not common discussions people have outiside of the internet everyday when they go to work, when they teach their class, when they defend their client or pay their bills and ETC.

People COME HERE to VENT, to speak THEIR OPIONIONS, to SPEAK THEIR MIND because they dont have the time to or dont run into to people who cares about the same issues in REAL LIFE

in REAL LIFE when you have someone that is constantly SHOVED IN YOUR DAMN FACE and GLORIFIED as being JESUS CHIRST when their talent and body of work does not reflect that.. YOU ARE GONNA HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY ABOUT THAT especially if it is being done EVERY FUCKIN DAY. One day I was in there and was in the mood for some George Benson's "Give Me The Night" but couldn't find even one of his CDs which is strange because he's not an obscure artist. Finally, I asked one of the clerks and they said his music was in the jazz section. I don't know why they placed him in the jazz section since he has a lot of R&B also but oh well, I asked where the jazz section was. The clerk led me to a completely separated room through a closed door and there was the jazz section with jazz music being played through the speakers and you couldn't hear any of the shit hop that was playing in the other section of the store. I immediately told the clerk "This is great. Do you have a funk section too?". We need a shit hop free zone at the org too.

You know, I love Beyonce, but the way people act gaga over her really makes me want to hate her sometimes. She is not the best thing since sliced bread and is not a legend though she is very good and I've been to a couple of tours and have a couple of albums.

hot damn, time flies . That's the Beyonce song I have in my itunes. From that debut cd...

I have that, and Me Myself & I (cause I like the old skool vocal riffs near the end). Then I guess I must have the songs Deja Vu, Work It Out, Fighting Temptation, and I like that rip off she did of Jonathan Butler's song "Lies" now called "Love On Top" though I don't own it.

I guess the only time I've ever paid attention to her songs was if and when they were retro sounding. That's crazy that it's already been 10 years since that solo debut...and that her music evolution has basically amounted to Girls Rule the Planet or whatever the heck that song is. I heard it through only once in my life, when she was on somebody's tv show and thought it was completely dreadful
