For those of you who are fans of Ted Mosby and all of his freinds from New York City, CBS has announced that the series How I Met Your Mother has been renewed for one more season which will be its last.

While the premise of the series invloves the future Ted Mosby in voiceovers explaining to his children how he met the woman who gave birth to them, the show itself is a retread of Friends. Of course, we've seen Ted date various women off and on during the series' run, wondering each time whether the various women he has dated is the "mother" of the show's title. Now we will finally find out who will be Ted's baby mama.

This show should have ended 3 years ago. It has been stretched so much for the sake of $$$ the show has suffered terrible.

Im surprised that NPH, Cobie Smulder or Jason Seagal reupped their contract. All three have so much better opportunities in front of them.

They almost didn't. In fact, Neil Patrick Harris had offers to do a couple of really high profile Broadway shows, and Jason Segel has been a hot property lately in a slew of Hollywood movies. He was the last holdout when they re-signed the cast, and his stipulation was that he didn't want to commit to any more than one season.

I want NPH to get the hell out of there and host a talk show. Hes made for that. He should have been Kelly Rippa's co host.

I tried to sit through an episode once....didn't make it. Not funny or entertaining.
