He did not share it from my FB album and I have no idea where he got it from as my FB profile is private. I was wondering if he got it from a journalist of a TV production company who I was friends with on FB for about 2 days some days ago. Or if he might have found it on the org as I had posted it here before a good while ago . I guess I might think twice what to post in the future.....

Hmm, sounds like someone downloaded your picture and then claimed it was their work.

Yes I guess the person must have downloaded it, but it still has the copyright on it of my ex who took it when we were still living together. But you can only see the copyright when you click on it and it opens full size.

I am happy somebody who saw the photo before and who I am not even friends with on FB saw it in the newsfeed and told me, I had no idea it was there and shared all over the world

There is only one picture of me on the internet, a decent one.

And you can't find me on fb if I haven't added you or did anything else on your fb page.

No I did not ask him, the pic is shared 847 times by now, I doubt it changes much to take it down. It's already everywhere. And he is Turkish, no idea if he even speaks proper English. I am going through a whole lot of intense personal drama for a few days now and don't really have the strength for any discussions with him .

Yeah seems so . My ex and I did some research now and it has been spreading on the internet for a few years already without us knowing anything about it . Some people even posted it giving other websites where they found it as the souce . So that turkish guy just took it from whatever website he saw it now. And he is not even a photographer, but just shares photos that get a lot of attention. Anyway I am pretty sure somebody took it originally from the org where I posted it in Feb 2009 .

I just ask because you originally posted it on a public website, so having it go a bit viral shouldn't be a big deal to you. If it was posted on a private site, I can understand being upset....but that's just me.

I was pissed because I thought somebody might have gotten it from my private FB page as it was posted on FB by that turkish guy. Now that I figure out somebody took it from the org I bother less now, because yes I posted it on a public forum. Even though it is not cool at all IMO and in my ex's opinon that it gets posted with sources of other websites where people find it when it still has the copyright ob my ex's photographer's website on it (even though he took it down from his site years ago). At least one site completely cut off the copyright as well, so that's not ok in our opinion. And it just feels weird that so many people now know my place . But at least I have a good laugh at all these comments .

And it's ironice that a few days ago I turned down a nice offer from a TV station for a few reasons and one of them was that I did not want half a milion people to see my place. And now that photo has over 1000 shares on FB in half a day

Yeah some money from it would be nice . I should just charge them for the entertainment value it apparently provides alone .

Thanks for your words of encouragement, but I don't bother one bit about the many negative comments. There are loads of people who love it and loads who hate it (a lot of funny comments ) and like you said I am the only one who counts because I need to enjoy living like that . And I very much do . I don't like average homes . I am used to people's when they first see it and it's either a positive or a negative . I wanted it be look different and it does I guess . But I am surprised it gets so many attention and such strong reactions on the internet. But it's also because it looks a lot more spectacular (either positive and negative ) on photo.
