When I was working my routine was pretty routine I did not need an alarm to awaken me. I automatically wake up at 6:00 AM or a little earlier. Then turn on the TV to the news. Go to the bathroom to do my bidness. Turn on the shower, take off pj's and get in and shower, wash my hair. Get out dry off and brush my teeth, put on deodorant and hair conditioner, rub my entire body down with baby oil, put on facial moisturizer, open closet and choose a suit/slacks/top, get dressed while listening to the news on TV, turn off TV, go downstairs and perk coffee on stove top, feed the cats, pour coffee in travel mug, add cream and sugar, put on my coat, grab my purse, head out the door and lock it, get to my car and remember I left coffee mug on counter, go back in the house and stand there for a few seconds trying to remember what I came back in the house for, remember and grab coffee, lock the door and get in car, light up a cigarette and drive to work.

Now that I've retired, I wake up at 6:00 AM with my cat Boots staring me in the face, turn on TV if I had not fallen asleep with it on, get up and go to the bathroom and do my bidness, wash my hands, brush teeth, go downstairs to feed the cats, perk my coffee on stove top, pour coffee and light up a cigarette and go back upstairs to finish watching the news. Depending on my mood, either stay in bed and watch TV for a few hours or start a project like cleaning or sorting bills, get on the internet and browse for hours, whatever the hell I wanna do. I love being retired. No more female coworker drama and bullshit.

My next big project is selling all my working clothes/shoes on eBay. I have brand new Kasper suits that I have never worn, brand new shoes never worn. I even bought a dress form to fit the clothes so when I photograph them they'll look better with more detail than just laying them out flat on the bed.
