I could have sworn I read somewhere that Bobby McFerrin (Don't Worry Be Happy) had committed suicide.

This was years ago and I was stunned to learn that he's still alive.

I wonder how Shirley Temple looks now. Last time I saw her when she was still involved in politics, she actually looked real good for someone who was in her early sixties then.

Chile, no.

I see him relatively often on tv concert specials (in Europe on the arts channels), as a solo artist and he also conducts orchestras (London Symphony, Vienna Symphony, the Kirov, La Scala, a whole mess of them)! Dude is seriously alive, kickin' and workin' & I saw him on tour with Chick Corea few months back. He also has a cool project he heads called "Voicestra" which is like a Vocalese group, performing music from across different genres, featuring vocalists like Janis Siegel from Manhattan Transfer. Mr. Don't Worry Be Happy is pretty much all over the place, health intact, having a celebrated career in high art circles

Yeah I thought I read obituaries on Lansbury and Doris. But I'm pleasantly pleased they're still around to kick it while they're still able to literally kick it. Especially Angela. "Murder She Wrote" was the SHIT.

Any baseball fan knows Yogi is still alive. He goes to Yankees games occasionally and never misses Old-Timers' Day. When he passes away, there will no doubt be a big tribute at Yankee Stadium just like after Joe DiMaggio died.

Angela just did a PBS special on Downton Abbey this last weekend. Still seems pretty spry.
