Sly Stone.

Oh gosh, did you see his "Unsung" documentary on TV One? Sly is one special dude, living his life as if he's dropped out of society. I think I may have thought he was in rock&roll heaven at one time myself, but it appears he's just actively choosing to live out of a van with no attachments lol

Depending on your age or interests, you may have no idea who Zsa Zsa Gabor is; but you've probably heard her name once or twice and assumed that she was a celebrity from a past generation who passed on long ago.

Your assumption would be incorrect! The actress, who was born on February 6, 1917, is still with us! She retired from acting in 1997 and, unfortunately, has suffered many health problems in recent years. Her right leg was amputated in 2011 to save her from an infection, and she suffered multiple strokes in 2005 and 2007.

That's one tough, old broad!!!

Don't forget Kirk Douglas, he's 95 and still going strong. He was recently volunteering for the L.A. Food Bank during Thanksgiving. Bless him.

I'm amazed he still performs 100 shows a year... in his heyday, he did shows for about 340 days of the year!

Yes she is! I remember her being in the news years ago for slapping the shit out of a traffic cop.

I could have sworn I read somewhere that Bobby McFerrin (Don't Worry Be Happy) had committed suicide.

This was years ago and I was stunned to learn that he's still alive.

Did anyone else hear this?

Chile, no. lol

I see him relatively often on tv concert specials (in Europe on the arts channels), as a solo artist and he also conducts orchestras (London Symphony, Vienna Symphony, the Kirov, La Scala, a whole mess of them)! Dude is seriously alive, kickin' and workin' nod & I saw him on tour with Chick Corea few months back. He also has a cool project he heads called "Voicestra" which is like a Vocalese group, performing music from across different genres, featuring vocalists like Janis Siegel from Manhattan Transfer. Mr. Don't Worry Be Happy is pretty much all over the place, health intact, having a celebrated career in high art circles lol

I guess I was the only one here that heard ol' Bobby had offed himself. I can't believe that...it was a widespread rumor.

I checked his wikipedia page and it even comments on "widespread rumors" of his suicide, as early as 1992.
