10 celebs you thought were deceased that are still alive.

Roger Moore

Celebrities who were famous long ago usually step away from the limelight to lead quiet, peaceful lives. As a result, the public sometimes erroneously assumes that they passed away long ago!

For example, many of you might not remember, but Sir Roger Moore was the face of secret agent James Bond from 1973-1985. He starred in seven different Bond films, including 'Live and Let Die', 'The Man with the Golden Gun', and 'Moonraker'.

When his time as James Bond had ended, Moore became heavily involved in humanitarian work through UNICEF. He hasn't done much acting since then, but he is still alive! In fact, he appeared in a video for London's 2012 Olympic bid.

Shirley Temple

The child star Shirley Temple, now known by her married name Shirley Temple Black, was born in 1928 and made a name for herself in the film business with her youthful charm and musical abilities.

She appeared in her final film in 1949 and has mostly stayed out of the public eye ever since, aside from a few television appearances and her career in politics.

Yogi Berra

Yogi Berra was inducted to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1972, and retired from playing, managing, and coaching for good in 1989. Though he has remained mostly out of the spotlight since that time, Yogi Berra is still very much alive!

Angela Lansbury

Born in 1925, British actress Angela Lansbury has had quite a career throughout her lifetime, winning five Tony Awards and receiving nominations for five Emmy Awards and three Academy Awards!

Nowadays, she still performs in award-winning Broadway productions and continues to play roles in movies, such as 'Mr. Popper's Penguins' and 'Adaline.' Jessica Fletcher may have retired years ago, but Angela Lansbury is still going strong!

Chuck Berry

Musician Chuck Berry was born in 1926, and after decades of success, he is still making music today! He reportedly performs live once a month at a restaurant/bar in St. Louis called Blueberry Hill.

If seeing Chuck Berry live is on your bucket list, you've still got a chance to make it happen!

Zsa Zsa Gabor

Depending on your age or interests, you may have no idea who Zsa Zsa Gabor is; but you've probably heard her name once or twice and assumed that she was a celebrity from a past generation who passed on long ago.

Your assumption would be incorrect! The actress, who was born on February 6, 1917, is still with us! She retired from acting in 1997 and, unfortunately, has suffered many health problems in recent years. Her right leg was amputated in 2011 to save her from an infection, and she suffered multiple strokes in 2005 and 2007.

Dick Van Dyke

Did you know that Dick Van Dyke is alive and well? It's true! The Grammy and Emmy Award-winning actor, who was born in 1925, continues to appear on television in guest spots and release music albums like 2010's 'Rhythm Train.'

He even wrote a book that released in 2011: 'My Lucky Life In and Out of Show Business.'

B.B. King

B.B. King, who is often nicknamed the "King of Blues," has won 15 Grammy Awards throughout his career, and he has performed over 15,000 times in a period of 63 years.

He still plays live concerts to this day!

Maureen O'Hara

If you have seen the original 1947 version of 'Miracle on 34th Street,' the original 1961 version of 'The Parent Trap,' or possibly the 1963 John Wayne film 'McLintock!' you are familiar with actress Maureen O'Hara!

Though O'Hara, who was born in 1920, performed her last on-screen role in 2000, she is still alive. The actress is retired, spending time in her homes in Arizona, the Virgin Islands, and Glengarriff, County Cork, occasionally making public appearances.

Doris Day

Did you know that Doris Day is still alive? The singer and actress, who was born in 1924, now resides in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, and goes by the nickname Clara Kappelhoff.

Though she hasn't appeared in any films since 1968, she released an album called 'My Heart' in the United Kingdom in 2011. The album debuted at number nine on the Top 40 Official UK Album Chart, making Day the oldest female artist to make the top ten.

I thought Ralph Carter (Michael) on "Good Times"

[img:$uid]http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e70/SexyBeautifulOne/ralph02.jpg[/img:$uid]

died a horrible death when I was still a kid in the '80s. There was a rumor about his stomach literally exploding. Then I'd heard nothing more about him period, until recently when he turned up very much alive.

[img:$uid]http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e70/SexyBeautifulOne/Ralph-Carter1-206x300.jpg[/img:$uid]

I'm happy that he is alive and well but I was so totally shocked as all get out to see him, somebody could have knocked me over with a feather. lol

I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

I could have sworn I read somewhere that Bobby McFerrin (Don't Worry Be Happy) had committed suicide.

This was years ago and I was stunned to learn that he's still alive.

Did anyone else hear this?

No. And judging from what I saw of him, I doubt he's the suicidal type.

I wonder how Shirley Temple looks now. Last time I saw her when she was still involved in politics, she actually looked real good for someone who was in her early sixties then.

Chile, no. lol

I see him relatively often on tv concert specials (in Europe on the arts channels), as a solo artist and he also conducts orchestras (London Symphony, Vienna Symphony, the Kirov, La Scala, a whole mess of them)! Dude is seriously alive, kickin' and workin' nod & I saw him on tour with Chick Corea few months back. He also has a cool project he heads called "Voicestra" which is like a Vocalese group, performing music from across different genres, featuring vocalists like Janis Siegel from Manhattan Transfer. Mr. Don't Worry Be Happy is pretty much all over the place, health intact, having a celebrated career in high art circles lol

Any baseball fan knows Yogi is still alive. He goes to Yankees games occasionally and never misses Old-Timers' Day. When he passes away, there will no doubt be a big tribute at Yankee Stadium just like after Joe DiMaggio died.
