Lil Wayne was rushed to a Louisiana hospital today after suffering another in-flight seizure, his second in 24 hours.

According to reports, Weezy was on a flight from Texas to Los Angeles when he began to convulse. The flight was diverted to Louisiana, where he was admitted to a local hospital for treatment.

He suffered a seizure despite earlier denials from his rep, who claimed it was dehydration and a “severe migraine” that sent him to the hospital.

Just yesterday, Wayne was on board a flight when a pilot reported that the Young Money rapper was having seizures. He was taken to a Texas hospital and released hours later.

Naw I think the street prescription drugs maybe taking a toll. Seizures aren't anything to mess around with. So whatever it is "extra" that he's doing, needs to stop, that is if he wants to live. His choice.

I saw that his rep brushed this off as "exhaustion" - but, seizures are nothing to take lightly.

Hmnnn, could it possibly be all that ink in his skin? Someone told me that stuff gives you liver/kidney damage, true?

Why are we automatically assuming that this is drug related? Or am I out of the loop? Anyway, I hope he'll be alright.

Well for one, he's young..if he was perfectly healthy, would he really be having seizures like this? Two, I think it's been known for a while now that Wayne does dabble in drugs.

Oh...Well maybe I'm just naive but I mean, everyone knows he smokes them leaves. But I didn't know he did anything heavy enough to cause a seizure. I kind of thought that it might be a health issue he's had for a while and just been hiding from the public. But now I see where you're coming from.

He drinks codeine-laced sodas (purple lean) and from what I read, you can die from that stuff. It's possible that stuff gave him those seizures. That could be what also caused Rick Ross to have seizures.

Downers(codeine and other narcotics) aren't no joke. Shit like that can stop yer heart and cause other heath problems with a quickness.

Yeah, I hear the reason some of the Southern hip-hop musicians take that stuff was so they can "stay down" and "lean". Maybe that's why they call it "lean" and "purple drank".

People love to live recklessly. I've heard so many stories of people using uppers and downers like it's nothing and if you tell them that it's dangerous, they'll say that it's not as dangerous as cocaine when it's just as dangerous if not more because of the attacks to your blood streams especially if you take it as a street drug as opposed to medication.

My aunt's husband's brother(bobby) died of a heroin overdose.

My homeboy Festus died of a heroin overdose.

My homeboy Bato died of a heroin overdose.

A guy i use to know by the name of John died of a heroin overdose.

A friend of mine by the name of Matt died of a heroin overdose.

A good friend of mine by the name of Rusty died from complications of Opiate use....

....As far as cocaine.....

Back in 2004 i had a friend by the name of JD that died of a cocaine overdose.

That's six narcotic deaths to one stimulant death.

I don't drink(anymore) and Ive never taken heroin but its obvious that when a person takes hard drugs they're playing Russian Roulette with their lives. It's just not worth the risk.

It seems heroin use is more dangerous than cocaine because cocaine is a more gradual death than heroin. You can die of heroin usage especially if heavily addicted between 3-5 years. Cocaine abusers have 10-15 years before cocaine use takes its toll. Some who deal with it as functional users usually have 20-30 years if cocaine and 10-15 if heroin. I assume the 10-15 years scenario would be the same with prescription drug users. Elvis was addicted to pills for 15 years before he croaked.
