I absolutely hate horror movies because memories of them terrorize me for weeks after.

That said, I can't stay away from them. lol I find them incredibly attractive.

I am Scorpio after all and it's no coincidence that Halloween occurs during Scorpio season -- it appeals to Scorpio's obsession with probing psychological fear, the shadow side of humanity and underworld/otherworldly forces.

Here are the ones that have kept me up for days:

  • The Shining
  • Psycho
  • The Exorcist
  • Poltergeist
  • Rosemary's Baby eek eek eek

Also, there was one I can't remember -- it wasn't good quality -- but it included a reference to 3:00 a.m being the witching hour. I had never heard that. After seeing it for years I used to wake up in fear at 3 a.m. and hoped no supernatural shadows were coming out to play in the hallway. I eventually asked my former editor about it -- she was a Wiccan/witch-- and she claimed that witching hour tale wasn't true. (I don't believe her).

lol I totally agree with you.

All great picks you chose too. I'm a big fan of all 5 films. Let me ask you, did you find it more or less creepy that they didn't show what the baby looked liked in "Rosemary's Baby"? I've always found it extremely creep that they didn't, while others hated it.

That's pretty interesting nod. I have a feeling I kknow what movie you're referring to, but I can't pinpoint it either.....hmmm

Not seeing the baby was much more effective -- although I did want to see it, but it probably would have just been cheesy. evillol

The subtle gay undertones, only added to this movie craziness. lol
