I like pretty much any kind of pizza. And since I don't eat it often, I don't feel bad about eating any particular kind of crust.

But there must be no fruit of any kind on it. Don't even approach me with that shit. talk to the hand

And no mushrooms (unless you want me to hurl). Anchovies are okay, though. drool

Italian style pizza all the way... thin crust.

Greek, deep dish etc. is all nasty to me. If I want a biscuit I'll go to KFC.

Depends where I am and who is making the pizza.

My favourite was thin crust fresh and yummy in Sardina. I do love a good New York style pizza. Florida, yuck.....not too many good pizzeria's here.

Delaware we used to get a good Sicilian, square and thick!.

I heard that it's the water.

There was this one place (near Orlando???) that used to truck in water all the way from Brooklyn to make his pizza.

Could be, I just thought it was all of the rednecks here that have no idea what a real pizza is.

Local owned places are better than chains but if I order from a chain, it's from Pizza Hut....thin crust Super Supreme with everything on it including anchovies and jalopenos with extra cheese, extra sauce, and sprinkled with crushed red pepper to make it even more spicy.

As for eating it with beer, never. I only drink on an empty stomach. If I eat anything, it takes too long to even get a buzz and when I drink, I drink to get fucked up. When I'm totally finished drinking, then I eat.

It's more like eating bread with pizza toppings on it. I'll eat deep dish if there's not much pizza because all that bread will fill you up. But if I've got plenty of money to order a larger quantity, it's always going to be thin crust.

My mother and I used to hit some of the pizza buffets back in the day. One of them thought they were slick putting those deep dish pizzas out on the buffet and hardly ever putting the thin crust out. Hell, we knew why they were doing it. It was because it was all you can eat so they wanted to get folks full off all that bread crust so they wouldn't eat much pizza because it would cost them more. Hell, my mother and I weren't fools though. We'd get those damn deep dish slices and scrape the toppings off and eat them and leave a big ole plate full of bread. Finally, one day the manager came to the table and asked what was wrong with the pizza. We just told it like it is, if you think you're going to save money by getting us full off of crust rather than pizza, it's just gonna cost you more money because we're not going to eat all that crust and get full. We came to get full off pizza, not crust and it's going to be this way until you put out some more thin crust pizza and stop being a stingy ass trying to trick folks. Don't EVER try to get over on some gluttons. lol

ACTUALLY...the "fresh" pizza at Target (the refrigerated one that you pop into the oven) is actually pretty good.

Some of those in the deli department in Kroger's look decent but I don't have one of those big round pans to put in the oven. If I were to buy the pan and the deli pizza, I would have spent just as much money as I'd spend at the pizza joint so I passed on it. lol

If you get one of those Franschetta pizzas you're good but anything else is just

a downgrade from places like Domino's and Pizza Hut. Sam's Club makes a pretty

good pizza too and you get a 16 inch for 8 to 10 bucks.

There's a Sam's right up the street from my apartment and it would be much more convenient for me to shop at rather than Kroger's but I've always heard from people that you only save money at Sam's if you buy in bulk. I don't have the money, nor the refrigerator space to buy in bulk. Do they have many good deals buying individually rather than bulk?
