Rebound stuff works, but it's not supposed to because it's kind of a shitty/dangerous situation. That and it sort of reinforces why you got there in the first place.

I used to do the same, get drunk, go party but also hook up with people I probably wouldn't have hooked up with if I was happy. Not that I didn't like them, because these were always people I already knew...just that I didn't really want anything more than just sex. I just wanted to feel wanted and desirable again. I guess it never set me back in any way but maybe I ended up leading some on into thinking I wanted something more than just an ego boost from them.

So I guess I rebound that way. But now, here where I am, I don't know anyone like that so I wouldn't be able to move on that way.

Rebound relationships really do suck. My last relationship was one, but it was my fault for not being realistic.
