highfive Loving the homefield advantage. Folks have to pay attention to the 49ers once again.

Heck yeah! We have a legit chance to make it to the big dance. That's pretty exciting after the last however many DECADES of suck! lol I know it hasn't been that long, but it sure feels like it sometimes.

Not sure most people will pay attention, though, even if we win it all. There will be a lot of talk about how we got lucky and need to be good for more than one year before we matter. I actually agree with the second part, but not the first.

Luck my ass. People who think that don't know shit about football. 49ers are well-coached, they don't make mistakes, and that defense is STOUT.

The Giants & 49ers are legit........I'll give the 49ers the slight edge.

I have a feeling the G-Men will show their playoff experience...

49ers will play tight and Giants will win 21-17

Pats will win a close one 27-21...

If the Giants don't turn the ball over they'll beat San Fran IMO

I actually think the Ravens have a good shot at beating the Pats if they pound Ray Rice at them

Great game.........either way.

Oh for sure. May even turn out to be considered a classic. But you can understand a 49er fans need to gloat just a bit. Got real old hearing and reading about he we couldn't win a playoff game for two weeks.

And now we have another home playoff game. All kinds of sweet. dancing jig

Haven't been able to get to my computer for the last few days so I'm a little late to the party but....

DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so sick of this Saints defense!!! They played awesome pretty much the entire game...until it mattered in the last 4 minutes. Crabtree couldnt catch a cold on Saturday and to be honest, I dont remember the other main receiver of the 49ers...mainly because he did nothing. How the hell could they leave Vernon Davis in man to man coverage? And fucking Malcolm Jenkins should turn in his gear. He's a SAFETY and got burned by a friggin tight end ALL DAY.

Props to Drew and the offense for doing more than enough to win the game, in spite of 5 turnovers. (No props to the D. Their failures late cancel out all the good they did.)

MAD PROPS to the Niner defense for beating the shit out of the Saints all day. Seriously...I cant even be mad at 'em. Just an awesome performance. That dude hit Pierre Thomas so hard that Pierre fell down in slow motion.

Now...I think the Niners may be in trouble. The Giants offense can definitely move the ball and, unlike the Saints, the Giants have a D that is up to the task. Alex Smith is nowhere near as good as the Saints made him look. Unless Harbaugh runs Gore all day (had he done that against the Saints, the game would've been over in the 2nd quarter), the Giants will CRUSH Smith .

SuperBowl will be a rematch...Giants/Patriots, and the Pats win it.

Well, this is the 2012 NFL postseason thread, and this is a postseason event.

I hope the game between the Giants and 49ers plays like I hope it does. It should be an awesome game, but I don't want to make any predictions. Sure, the Giants may be the hottest team in the NFL right now, but the 49ers defense is pretty tight, so I couldn't tell you either way how this will go.

Steelers OC Bruce Arians retires today. I wish him well but damn if i will

miss him going 5 wide on 3rd and 1, continuously having Ben force the

ball 40 yds down field to Mike Wallace and those lame ass bubble screens

to Heath Miller. It will be nice to have an OC that has a fullback in his

offense again.
