So... what was your BESTEST Christmas gift?

My favourite present this year was this:

I love it so much I want to lick myself.

Did you get what you really wanted?

I thought that was it, but on Christmas she gave me $100 in grocery store gift cards... She knows how tight my budget has been. touched

Hey! You have powers or something?

Your question made me go look and yes, there was something inside!!! Who would have guessed? I was so happy with my envelope and it happened to have money inside woot!

Now I know it's in bad taste to say how much so I'll just say I could invite 5000 people to a coffee smile

I think the gifts I was most excited about were tickets to see Bootsy Collins and a Nintendo Wii.

The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

The tickets aren't to see the Wii. They're to see Bootsy Collins and a Wii. I wonder what game he likes? hmmm

(Bass) Guitar hero! guitar smile

I actually saw him at The Bitter End a while ago - he showed up to do a song or two with Bernie Worrell (the original keyboardist for PFunk). Bootsy was so close to us that I could see his fillings! He oozes funk!

Prince concert tickets and (runner up) indoor skydiving tickets.

I should say I enjoy gifts that can be an activity (not a memento or nick-nack) or spending time with loved ones (like Machaela said) doing an activity. Which I did with the Prince concert and will do with the skydiving.

I got some nice gifts from my daughters as well. They worked really hard to get something nice for me. They are my heart.

My .org Secret Santa gift is what's in the picture. It also was a highlight of my Christmas.

My best friend gave me $50 so I could by the Urban Decay Naked2 palette once it's back in stock. It was totally unexpected and totally unncessary but I appreciate it very much.

My mom and dad must have been reading my cooking blog because my dad got me a hand mixer and my mom got me a double boiler, two things I wished I had during my Christmas cooking extravaganza.

I love thoughful presents like that. I think it's so much nicer that people actually take notice of things you've talked about and shown interest in.
