I believe Jason Laconfora of the NFL network stated last night

that it was complete garbage; however if Brett gets wind of the

rumors he may let it fly. I can't believe sport networks give this

nonsense with brett the time of day.

And the only way Brett Favre comes back and plays for Philly is if they get rid of Kevin Kolb. That may actually happen, but the Eagles will get a sizable sum in return, since he is actually one of the most coveted quarterbacks in the league right now.

These dudes are gonna be so outta shape! Some may have been training, but I hope folks don't get injured too badly.

Giants have to keep Bradshaw, but I think they'll cut Jacobs.

I still think there'll be more injuries. One week or not, there may have been more slacking than usual this year. But I guess we'll see.

For football fans, this is the equivalent of a monthlong fast, followed by an all-day meal at Golden Corral.

Too much activity is never the antidote to too little, but that's where we are.

Maybe back in the day. There is 2 much money on the table and careers are 2 short.

These guys know what they need 2 do 2 stay in the league.

The media is picking up right where they left off--most of the discussions on the same 6 or 7 teams, all others be damned.

I always knew they would get this done. The NBA, not so much. Pretty sure I'm going to be disappointed by that one.

Go Niners! lol Alex Smith is average at best and "The Next Savior Coach" is not going to improve that. We SHOULD make the playoffs, but I'm not holding out much hope.

McNabb might be heading to Minnesota. Donovan needs a reality check. Even in his best years, he was never on Peyton's level.

Santonio Holmes signed a 5-yr. deal with the Jets. Matt Hasselbeck to the Titans, Donte Stallworth to the 'Skins. Giants cut Rich Seubert and Shaun O'Hara, and are supposedly meeting with Plaxico. I'm sure Coach Coughlin is thrilled with that. Giants are scared shitless of Burress going to their division rivals, Dallas, Philly or Washington.

I heard that FIRST thing this morning on sports radio. nod I like that addition. And I for one haven't given up on Randy Moss yet, like some of the sports anal-ists have. Hell, a slowed down Randy Moss is still better than 60% of the receivers out there. There was speculation that D. Mason could come back to the Titans. lol Okay? "Moss is old and worn out. Bring back D. Mason." Yeah, that sounds logical.

Giants signed center David Baas. Osi's holding out - so what else is new?

According to a report I saw, Jets and Niners are main competition for Nnamdi Asomugha. Imagine Asomugha & Revis together? Ohhhh baby!
