Babble Your Heart Out; Babble thread #11 I have waited a long time to do this. I really love the random thought thread a lot. However, I still need a babble thread. I just am not the same without it. Random thoughts are just that, things you want to say and usually less than 4 sentences long. Babble is all the rest. It can be pictures, but most of the time it is just borderline senseless rambling. Stuff that you may not want to make a thread out of but you just feel the need to "share". Anyway I love to babble so that is what I will continue to do. It makes me feel better to get on this thread and fuk it up then to ruin other orger's threads with my long winded writing style.

I think I should try and get in touch with BobGeorge and see how he is doing in New Orleans. I am so in love with that city and yet it seems nearly impossible to live in. Every time I hear of someone going there or a celebrity buying a house there I get so jealous. Yet, each time I get very close to moving back something terrible happens to the city and it again seems like a totally insane idea to call that city home. That is hilarious! So do you read cards often? Were you just doing it for yourself? How often do you pull them out. That is a bagel I see correct? I love peanut butter on toasted bagels I also love it on toasted Portuguese bread- it is to die for! I use to live in Provincetown Massachusetts and they had a huge Portuguese community at one time. They were basically all fishermen. Anyway they had those rolls at this one place called the "Donut Shop" that didn't sell donuts. You could go in there and get an egg and linguisa sandwich on a toasted Portuguese roll. I loved that sandwich. (I hope I spelled linguisa right. It is a portuguese sausage and also fabulous in Kale Soup. ) There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Anais Nin.

I really need to stop playing Sims. It's sad that all my Sims are far more successful than I. The best friends I had when I was in my 20's were gay men. They loved to take me to gay clubs. That way they were not walking in alone but clearly we were not an item. My job seemed to be to get dressed up and be prepared to laugh and dance. That was about it. Luv don't do it. Once you play that game your life disappears. It's worse than Final Fantasy or Warcraft "...and If all of this Love Talk ends with Prince getting married to someone other than me, all I would like to do is give Prince a life size Purple Fabric Cloud Guitar that I made from a vintage bedspread that I used as a Christmas Tree Skirt." No, all of you are as close to an Internet alternate universe as I am willing to go. I watched this show once. It was called something like"wifeswap". It was definitely not kinky. Basically 2 families exchange wives/mothers and all hell breaks loose. It usually worked out to the better of both families though because they would put a freaky mom in place of a very conservative mom and one family would learn to loosen up a bit and get more creative and the other would have guidelines and schedules and some sense of work ethic that they never had before. Anyway at one point there was this mother that really was not a part of her family and her real world any longer. She totally identified herself as this character she had built up and fed into on a daily level that was an Internet thing. I don't play on the computer much so I am not all that sure what I am talking about
She would go to these meet-ups and meet people that remind me of purplemookiebut. They all lived on the Internet but they did not seem to have lives as such here on planet Earth. This mom was so distant from her kids and husband that it was like she was not there. Anyway I think she ended up being pared up with a husband who told her to "get the fuck off the computer!" and alas her marriage was saved. Oh my God, I just got through shopping on line and that is not a quick thing people!!! It takes forever because - well it just does. However I am going to go back because Target had some really good buys in clearance and there is this catalogue called Midnight Velvet that has some shoes I really liked on sale!!!! So far I have only shopped at Roaman's which is a fat lady store. I put a shit load of stuff into my cart and then unloaded most of it. I bought a pair of those sneakers with the rounded bottom for all the walking that i will soon be doing and I bought a cute pair of kitten heels and 2 black dresses. One is an everyday dress and the other is a very dressy dress on clearance for a fraction of the cost. They only had it in 14w and I take a 20w right now so I plan on wearing it for the holidays. After that I ate my lean cuisine and jumped in the shower. Now it is off to Target online and pick up a few of their clearance dresses there. All done with Target and got 5 clearance dresses for very cheap and a swimsuit, one cardigan and the book "the help". All done. This was an all day event!! My friend comes back to his house in a half an hour and I need to make sure it doesn't look any different then when he left. I've been thinking about what I want for myself in the next 5 years and I realize how I'm living now is not going to get me there. I keep telling myself without risk there is no gain but I've been too scared to take those risks. I feel like I'm in a good place to change and since I'm consciously ready to make those changes, I feel something awakening in me. I've been kind of asexual for awhile now and now all of the sudden I'm noticing men. And more importantly I'm noticing them noticing me. I hope this lasts. Shake it til ya make it

I have brought back dead threads many times. What happens is that I want to start a thread and mention it to another orger and come to find out there was already one going only a week a two before. I actually like doing that. Sometimes a there are a ton of new threads posted and an oldie but goodie thread just gets buried on page 2 or 3 and well, dies. I had a friend in Provincetown that did psychic readings and made her living off of it. She would say that if you keep asking the same question over again eventually the cards will lie to you. I miss having someone to do that with. There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Anais Nin.
