That's terible. Somebody I know died when he climbed on a ceiling drunk and high at a party and fell down from it . I remember how shocked we all were and a little girl lost her dad . | |

it's not that i've lived a sheltered life... because my first ever boyfriend died from a drug overdose
but i chose to never touch or use any drugs... even weed
and i really dont think i missed out on anything
i also worry about my kids, because i know they will have to make their own choice one day and i hope they say no 2

People who are in prison for selling weed as opposed to being in prison for robbery or murder... they make good trustees, road crew workers etc.... they put them in work programs and crap like that and get free labor. Modern day servitude in disguise. Not to mention the fact that if weed was legal, many people would never pay for it again.
It's weed... it will grow and grow and grow and grow. You can have a crop of weed in very little time.

Here's the thing.
If you take weed and all other drugs, even booze out of the equation... lot's of people will still be sorry, especially kids who don't even have a clue as to what direction they should be going in or what the hell is going on in the world for that matter... but then again, neither do adults most of the time. The thing with kids is that they haven't yet hunkered down into that crappy dead end job that just pays their bills.... and so they look useless... but soon enough they will be cramping down into some crappy job and turn into an adult and there will be one less job for the pre-existing adults in a world where there will never be enough jobs to go around in the first place.
Now you can't blame those people who settle for the crappy jobs because face it, somebody has to do those jobs and there are a hell of a lot more crappy jobs than there are those nice cushy jobs that the TV tells you ANYONE can have. No. Not everyone can have those jobs because that would mean life had turned into a fairy tale and if we are going to be living a fairy tale, why not go with one where life is suddenly perfect for everyone and we don't have to work at all.
I say, let the little fuckers smoke pot and sit on the computer all night and sleep all day until they start figuring their life out and if you can't afford to feed them, teach them how nutritious most grasses are and tell him to relax, not to worry himself to death trying to figure out how to attach himself to the puppet masters strings. If you don't have a room for him, tents are pretty cheap. That's just basic info you should teach any child anyway in case he gets lost in the wilderness. What are people teaching kids these days? We don't want them running a whole bunch of crap anyway (no offence to smart kids) We don't need a lot of new births but mating is what the young are pre-occupied with and that's what they do. To distract them from that new discovery in life is not generally an easy task.
Things are changing anyway... faster and faster. That's the kinda thing young ones are good at keeping up with... cutting edges. Those are more fortunate ones. There's nothing more aggravating than a miserable kid but he's nuts... he's lost. If you tell him "point north" you're doing good if he gets anywhere close.
Booze is the worst. The absolute worst! Booze causes WAY more deaths than drugs... all drugs, ANY drugs- all day.... but I don't advocate all drugs. I do advocate some casual drug use... like weed and I definitely advocate psychoactive research. Taboo or not, it's a reality and a science that should be explored and it is being explored. It could be explored in a much more orderly fashion than the general public displays but that's just a symptom of the overall disease of society.... just like sorriness in a kid is in many of them regardless of what they do or do not do.
Booze though...Booze is the worst. The absolute worst. It's the one that is praised while the most harmless one is demonized because if you are being tested for things, it's really the only one you gotta stay away from.... unless you are being tested multiple times a week.
It's completely backwards.

Well, first of all, I disagree with your first statement so much that I almost didn't respond. There are absolutely no facts there, just your opinion.
In regards to the second part, party kids are not all kids, nor are they everyone who is smoking weed. I also don't believe that every single one of them is doing speed, coke, heroin etc. But most importantly, as you yourself pointed out, they're behaving this way because they're bored, NOT because they smoked weed. That is the point.
