Long hair. nod

I'm with Acrylic.

I usually prefer long hair on women Just cuz I think it's feminine and beautiful to have long, thick, flowing hair. That's how I keep my hair. My hair is black, long and curly. When I blow dry it straight, it's down to my waist. biggrin And it's all mine. nod

On men, I usually also prefer long hair. I used to be completely exclusive to long haired men. But recently I've grown if a man has good bone structure that he can pull off shorter hair (no, I'm not talking crewcuts or severe fades. Unless he's Shemar Moore. drool), then I don't mind that either. In fact, I've grown an appreciation for short hair, but I still love long hair on a fella. I think it's a sign of verility. giggle Provided it's not too long that's it's girly. His hair cannot be longer than mine. Idk, I'd just find that wierd. razz

It was a bit of a sweeping generalisation smile but like when a guy is physically smaller than the woman he's with: I can't help but wonder if there's something very kinky going on there.

I find that it tends to be only other women (or gay men) who proffer compliments on the newly shorn girl at work or wherever, it's not something that's affirmed by men without more than a cursory "Sure, looks nice." Applies to men too, the majority of the female population doesn't find beards, tattoos and shoulder length hair very appealing on the aversge fella.

lol Well my bf may have long hair (dreadlocks), but he is a masculine looking man and I have long her too, just shorter than his and I am a very feminine looking woman. Oh and he is taller than I am lol.

About the only things I don't like are braided heads and dreads on white people lol or rather on folk who do not have the right consistency hair for these styles to look their best. IMO, of course.

I don't like those on anybody.. lol

guess it doesn't matter much as long as it's neat & "presentable"..

but I do like to run my fingers thru a guy's hair.. or grab it lurking

- if he has a face and/or build that can pull it off (long hair), cool.. shrug smile

Fabio, Prince, Jason Momoa, and, yes, MJ (with P & Momoa, it made me wanna... be naughty, LoL; with MJ, I just really liked how it looked on him [I never liked afros] shrug )

and, no; Shatner would not be able - even in his younger days - to pull it off... lol wink

* as for braids, only if your hair is long enough for a single braid down the back, that's fine, too, imho

Well for me if a man wears his hair longer it is a sign of self confidence.

guess I'm not average.. wink lol

I don't mind some tats [as long as they're not vulgar/demonic]; not the whole body...

and.. well, I've never kissed a guy with a full beard---just a moustache or beard stubble (I don't like a hairy body, but I find stubble (face, or head if shaved) very sexy.... the look, and especially the feel against my skin [I'm very tactile.. lol ])

love longer hair on a guy (but it's not a prerequisite..).. biggrin

Yeah, I found that post kinda odd too - rife with broad generalizations, speaking for a lot of people they shouldn't be.

I love tats on guys, and long hair too. Facial hair as well. Go figure huh? lol

I guess I dig and prefer long hair on a woman most of the time, but some women can rock a short hair look and it looks great, ive seen women bald look beautiful too, its more about the way they carry themselves.overall for me.

This goes to men and women both in the ORG. I like to ask a question about "physical looks", mainly hair.

Men (straight, bi or gay): do you prefer your men or women to have long hair or short hair?

Women (straight, bi or gay): same question?

hmmm

----

Just something I wanted to see if I get responses from lol razz

I used to always wear my hair very short in a pixie cut- some men loved it and some guys called me "cute" but since I have let my hair grow to my shoulders, men have been bat-shit crazy about it. Guess I should have let it grow a long time ago.

I don't know, with it short it was definately more "cutesy" and long feels more "womanly" so I don't know- but my husband always liked it short. I'd have to say though, that it looks better long, but I loved it short- I did mohawks, all kinds of crazy stuff - but alas, I got too old (around 36) I decided I'd better let it grow - can't be a middle aged woman with a fauxhawk! smile

lol And what is wrong with "kinky"?

When women get short hair it still needs to be styled. I hate those cuts that look like a camp councelor would wear. Marilyn Monroe, Liz Taylor, Lena Horne, and many others use to rock short hair and look sexy and feminine.
