Skype has sold out to the Microsoft Plantation! Although I personally don't used Skype, I believe it a damn shame that one of the most popular freewares ever will NOT exist much longer.

Well, Sykpe is about to be F'd up when Mircosoft gets its hands on it. I use an Apple app called Line2, for 9 dollars a month and has way more features than Sykpe. | |

Yeah, I downloaded it too and never really got into it. It sucks as an IM service, and I don't really go on webcam like that, so it's essentially useless to me "I don't think you'd do well in captivity." - random person's comment to me the other day | |

Thanks for posting the link to skype alternatives! I was just about to ask about that.
Have any of you used one of these others and can offer feedback? I'm skeptical about continuing to use skype with the microsoft buyout.

The only ones I use are Skype, Calleasy (which you can only use for cheap phonetalks) and PowerVOIP. I might start to use others too though.
