Both. Like others have said, it depends on what I'm buying.

It depends.

If it's clothing, more times than not, I have to go shopping in person for them. I'm not a particular size in ANYTHING, so online shopping to get the right fit is near impossible.

Books, media, music, etc -- online all day.

And oh, eBay. love2

Same thing... I HAVE to try most outfits on.

But I can't remember the last time I went in a book or music store.

I like book stores.

Flipping through pages; smelling the new ink.

Drinking an overpriced beverage from the cafe located in 90% of them.

But goddamn, they're just cheaper online!

I do, too, but I just don't have the time nowadays. sigh

the last four item's I purchased on line had to be returned because...

1) they didn't look like the online picture of the corduroy knickers i chose

2) they didn't fit, and the ruffle at the knee was not wide enough

3) the quality wasn't there and i will never wear any garment that has not been handwoven under a moonlit sky by elven faeries

it's made me rethink this online shopping thing

yes. i can see why.

yes, I did. and I remeber you loved my new dress!

it wasn't the dress that's the problem Dear, it's how long it takes you to do your hair.

Online. I see, I want, I browse, I click and buy. The only mall around here is SO much of a downgrade to me, personally. There's only one store I really like--Carson's. It's just that everything has changed so much in there. Stuff closing down, and then there's like six urban stores and beauty supply and crap everywhere. There are other malls, but mall shopping to me is sort of dated.
